LEMs are cool. Longish initial pull that's quite light, goes bang. If you hold the trigger in, it's like single action thereafter. Great reset. Nicest trigger I've ever shot on an HK next to a P7.
My name is Mike and I'm a Glockaholic. I bought a G34 after shooting it and then I wanted a backup. Then I got a G35 and, yes, another G34. I shoot them at least as well as anything I've owned. By far, the least expensive quality 9mm you can have due to the fact that it's easy to maintain. Very...
Sooner or later, almost everyone has an AD. If you are fortunate, it's a gun defect and you are in the range and the gun is pointed safely down range. Had that happen about a year ago. I'm thinking about using empty chamber indicators as a standard procedure to and from the range. It's just too...
Springfield rocks as far as customer service. Very happy with my 1911s. I'm a Glockhead, but if you like the XD or one of the Springer 1911s, you can buy with confidence.
Lots of good guns go cheap and $600 is not a lot for a customized Springer. I've gotten a couple of custom 1911s for less than the typical $1000+ price tags one might expect to pay.
I don't see why a limited amount of it would cause a problem as for SD work. The P6 is designed for ball ammo--you need to pick and test any HP rounds accordingly. Not everything will feed.
I'm not sure what causes it but my guess is that the slide stop lever spring might be the culprit. You could try changing the slide stop lever(the lever and spring are sold as one part) and see if that doesn't eliminate the problem.
Advantage Arms seems to make the 22LR conversion of choice.
Buckmarks have a different grip angle from the Glock. At least mine does--it's like a 1911. I like using a Ruger Mark II for 22LR practice. The grip angle on the Mark II (or the newer III) is much closer to the Glock.
Yep, I bought some 22 bulk ammo at Wally World last week and stocked up on Federal 22 last year when it was $9.99 at Cabelas--it's now $14.99.
I reload. Didn't matter when you could buy 9mm ammo at $5.00 a box. Those days are long gone.
I've gotten rid of all my other 9mm pistols, save a 1911. Glocks rule. Easy to maintain and modify, very accurate, and extremely reliable. Really could not ask for more.
Glocks usually need a bit of grip work to come up to full potential. I get rid of the finger grooves (especially if they are compact or sub-compact), and take up the trigger guard slightly regardless of model.
I'd put in the new parts and see what that does. Older guns should be brought up to the latest standards. Good excuse here to install a smooth trigger assembly, do a trigger job http://www.alpharubicon.com/mrpoyz/glock/
and make the most of the gun's potential.
Leave the gun stock. Do the 25 cent polish trigger job.

If you still aren't happy, you can always change the connector, but I would leave the gun with standard parts if possible.
