My 12 ga Mossberg 500 with factory synthetic stock needs a new recoil pad. It's a ~30 year old plain Jane 12 ga that came with a 28" blued choke tube barrel, not some exotic special model. Which is preferred, a Kick Eez, a Limbsaver or something else?
Factors are recoil comfort and above all...

The Florida State Supreme Court rejected a ballot proposition to ban "Assault Weapons" because the ballot summary did not accurately reflect the language of the proposition...
Western Sport Shop in San Rafael, CA is closing after 65 years.
Western was an old fashioned hunting and fishing store that specialized in service. They really would take a beginner out into the parking lot and teach them how to flycast. Bashing gun store clerks is practically a sport on gun...

I need to store some guns for several years and am leaning toward VCI paper and plastic bags (along with a good coat of oil).

A simple question. I'm not concerned with velocity, sight radius or swing issues.
If every thing else is equal will a 26" barrel give a tighter pattern than an otherwise identical 20" barrel? If so, why?
