    Walther G22...

I love my G22. However, I will never take it apart again. If you do, be very careful. There is a tiny, unsecured spring near the hammer that may pop out. I spent well over two hours with the lights out, on my hands and knees with a flashlight trying to find that darned little spring. For...

What is the best Sig in 9mm

I really love my P226ST in 9mm. It balances well and the added weight of the stainless makes recoil a breeze!

Who here is a Kimber 1911 fan?

Kimber Custom TLE/RL II with external extractor. Well over 1000 rounds, never failed to feed, fire, extract or place a round more than a few inches away from where I intended it. I love it even more since I've installed the arched MSH with mag well and grip safety with tactical bump. I'm...

    Monk and the gunsafe.

I've always pictured him cleaning his gun flawlessly too!

Suggestions for easy access safe for bedroom

I've never had a problem with the GV that didn't involve me pressing the wrong combination. The biometric version would be nice, in which the combination would be a back up and the key a secondary back up. I would recommend it as a fine solution. M

    A Green Commander...pics!

Gorgeous. You've definitely steered me back towards a commander for my next purchase!

So if you were thinking of getting an Aimpoint....

Wow, that is quite a show of support. Now I'm just struggling with the fact that the Comp M4 isn't the Aimpoint I've been after....

    AWB and Heller

I can already see the argument coming: "The Clinton AWB was ineffective because it didn't go far enough...."

If you could only have 1 9mm

I voted Sig P229 only because you were missing Sig P266 and Walther P99 as options, I'd prefer either.

Just brought my Kimbers home a brother

Wow, unfortunate. Good luck with that and I hope it gets fixed to your satisfaction. I'm considering picking up the exact model, so please let us know how this turns out.

    1911 Magazines of Choice

Only have WC47D and the stock Kimber. All perfectly reliable. Can't say anything about others, but I haven't had a misfeed with these.

Walther P99, What Do You Think Of It?

I have a AC P99 in 40S&W. Love it. Incredibly accurate. Extremely reliable. Easy to take down and reassemble. Ergonomics are fantastic. Plus a marvelous striker-fired DA/SA. I'd highly recommend to anyone.

Is there such a thing as too much gun?

A concern I always thought was silly until I was watching a Dateline story. The defendant was on trial for shooting someone on a mountain trail with a Kimber chambered in 10mm. The show contained several scenes in which the prosecutor argued to the jury that the 10mm pistol was excessive and the...

Both eyes open or one closed

I generally practice with both eyes open, but if I'm really trying to make a single shot I'll close my left eye and take my time.

    Clinton on the Supreme Court?

I can't imagine her getting consent of the Senate given her inherent polarity. Furthermore, she's been the focus of disbarment attempts, ethics violations and failed the DC bar exam. Hopefully everyone outside of New York is safe from her for a while.

    K.31 Swiss Rifle

Congratulations! Mine should be arriving this weekend. I'll post a post of pictures once I get it cleaned up!

    Optics or Irons?

You can also be like me and put detachable rings on your scope. I've got an M1A Scout and am heading to the rifle range tomorrow. I'll probably start with iron sights, screw on the red dot for some fun and then screw on the scout scope to try to get some really good groups. At the end of the...

Can the State determine what guns I have?

Here in California you can make a request for a list of firearms registered to your name: http://ag.ca.gov/firearms/pubfaqs.php#26 Not sure what other states offer this. Since I assume they're tracking as best they can anyways, it's nice that you can at least access the list.

    New G22! :) and now I’m sick to my stomach… :(

Walther G22 is not fun to take apart. I shoot mine very regularly and have taken to cleaning out the action and barrel after each trip and doing a full detail only once a year. No drop in accuracy or reliability yet.

    Surefire prices

As a flashaholic I feel you. I'm spending about as much on flashlights as I am on ammo every month now.... Surefire is excellent and I can't recommend them highly enough. However, if you're price sensitive about buying (and don't plan on mounting to a firearm) I'd take a look at Fenix as well...
