How young can one be to own an SBR?

I suspect this issue boils down to state law and how a state defines a "decedent/heir." If you meet the criteria for a "decedent/heir" in your state, you can qualify for a Form 5 transfer. But I'm in agreement with you. My money is on just about every state requiring death or at least some...

    Ok...this wait is getting ridiculous...

For me, yes it was. Dudash was my examiner for that one (actually it was two stamps - Form 1s). Ann Feltner is now currently assigned to my state per ATF's new procedure.

Same here. Four months on a trust.

    A full auto legal question

The ATF dealt with this issue vis-a-vis miniguns. At first, they were not regulated since many had an electric switch, not a "trigger." They have since broadened the definition of a "trigger." And that includes miniguns.

NFA trust (1 down, another to go).

Typically, a trust will have a list of the trust property included in an attachment, commonly referred to as "Schedule A." This list gets updated as trust property is added to the trust. A properly drafted trust should permit the addition of property to the trust while the...

NFA trust (1 down, another to go).

A copy of the current trust with the Schedule A (with current trust property) should be sufficient. No new trust is necessary.

Power of Attorney questions regarding Suppressors/SBR's

Yes, thanks. My point was that having a trust would simplify this whole operation. If they had a trust, she could easily add property to the trust without any additional documentation (per the trust) outside of the usual ATF forms. Additionally, if she is a co-trustee, she could legally...

Power of Attorney questions regarding Suppressors/SBR's

^^^Yep. If it was in a trust and she was a co-trustee, she could legally possess without any issues. That's one of the advantages of entity ownership (trust, corp., llc) of NFA items.

    NFA stamp question.

The information presented above is accurate. There is no "one size fits all" with acquiring a stamp. For some, the individual route is best while others may find a corp./llc or trust better suited to their needs. Each method has its own advantages and disadvantages and you should be familiar...

    the M14

Buy it in parts. It may cost more over the long run, but you can spread out that expense over time. Pick up a good receiver and go from there. I was able to score a barely used SOCOM for $1200. Deals can be had if you look.

    Dissappointed with SIG

I had the same problem with my 220 Carry. They had to polish the feed ramp, replace and adjust the extractor. It was fine after that. Apparently, that is a common issue with the P220 Carry. As for the scratches, SIG should make that right.

    Sig Short Trigger

It sounds like Midway's caveat is just a CYA maneuver. I think they should drop right in.

    Sig Short Trigger

Chris Orndorff has produced a very high quality SIG Armorer's DVD that will show you how to do it. http://www.topgunsupply.com/Sig-Sauer-Armorers-Course-DVD-P-SERIES-pr-131.html It's also available through Brownell's and the SIGforum. It's a must have for SIG owners.

Is your spouse progun, antigun, or dont care

The wife is seriously anti-gun. I think it's mostly ignorance and her liberal upbringing. I've been steadily undoing both.

    My new Glock 20

I say keep it stock. Mine has an aftermarket barrel, guide rod, and sights. Everything else is stock. It eats any ammo I throw at it without fail.

    SIG P220 Carry holster question?...

I believe that the P229R holster should be the same for the P220R Carry.

    "Business Casual" Carry . . . How?

Attorney here... and business casual is typical (although I push the "casual" part of it). I carry my G21 SF in my MTAC. I find that dark and/or patterned polos work great. This is a tuckable option too. However, I'm rather large in stature (6'6" and 265) so I have some real estate to hide...
