Open top holsters SUCK. Flap holsters RULE. Convince me I'm wrong.

In the bush, flap holsters are the way to go. For my 7.5" Super Redhawk I use a Mernickle horsehide flap. It was supposed to be a slight right hand cross draw so that I can reach it with either hand in case the bear has me down on the ground (I used to work 200 days a year in remote Canadian fly...

Every man needs at least one rifle that can fix a proper bayonet. There are still instances in these days where the good guys run out of ammo. Recommendations For A Decent Revolver?

:) I am always on the lookout for an "FBI" ie. a 3" roundbutt Model 13 that I'd put a Tyler T adaptor onto. They are really rare in Canada. Like I've never seen one for sale in 40 years. But the search continues. Did they make the 65 in this configuration? I have an M19 but would love a 3" 13.

    How to get killed...

RIP. I too think that the way to play it is to wait with your loved ones in a room (this includes my dogs if I can corral them) with a proper reliable tool that you are well practiced in its use, call the police and wait to see if the criminals push into the safe room. TBS I can see situations...

    What About the Other Guy?

If there's more than one then it's boarding house rules. Nobody gets seconds until everybody has had firsts. And no matter what, check your six because that's where the danger often comes from.

    S&W 3rd Gen love/hate?

3914 LS. It feels good in my medium sized hands. I've only had it to the range once but it shot well for me at 15 yards with both ball reloads and Winchester 115 gr JHP. I'm used to the DA to SA change and the DA is pretty smooth. My buddy is a newish shooter. Shoots a double wide mag .45 ACP...
