    Converting a SigPro to DAO

Changing the fire control unit is pretty straight forward if you can find one. Top Gun Supply used to have them. I think they were around $200.00, but I don't see them on their web site now. You're going to get a reset like a double action revolver. It ain't gonna be short.

    Best pocket pistol

There are a lot of options, and a wide range of prices. I know I have spent way too much money trying to figure out what I wanted, but those days are over. At least on pocket guns. I started out with a S&W 642. I still have one, but it seems bulky. Got a P3AT, but never could warm up to...

    Beretta Model 70 in .380acp

I have one I bought new in the early 70s. I think I paid about $140.00 for it, and I think it's a fantastic looking gun. It was my first semi auto, and I think I might take it with me. I haven't shot it much in the last few years, but it was always reliable, accurate, and easy shooting. It's a...

Kahr K9 field strip and reassembly

Once you put the slide on, you have to start the takedown pin through the barrel lug before you pull the slide back into position to push the takedown pin all the way in.

So, how good ARE you.........really ?

I shoot IDPA, and sometimes if there's not enough time to run another stage, but it's too early to quit, we set up an IDPA silhouette, and play a real quick game. You get 6 rounds. The target is 3 to 4 yards out. You start with the gun in the holster, and facing away from the target. When...

Verify this for me... Kahr issue?

I detail stripped the slide on my K9 when I got it, just to make sure it was clean, and hadn't thought too much about it since. It now has somewhere around 500 rounds through it, and this thread made me wonder how dirty the striker channel was getting, so I decide to take a look. It was...

If you're looking for advice, it's been given several times. Get the DVD from Top Gun.

Need to learn to fully disassemble and reassemble my Sig.

I assume you are talking about the trigger pivot. The flats on the pivot could be 180 degrees off. That would cause problems with the locking insert. You really, really, really, need to get the DVD from Top Gun Supply.
