    VEPR the Brass Eater !

Load them with powder-puff loads and shoot them through a bolt gun. They should fire-form pretty well.

Question for Kershaw Leek knife owners??

I removed the lock on mine, and never had it open in my pocket. The problem that I have had with it, is that they keep getting pushed out of my pocket by my motorcycle over-pants. I've lost one on I5 somewhere b/w Seattle and Tacoma. I've had my second one fall out in the floor about half a...

Slight Problem With Swiss Reloads This Past Weekend

High primers. I have had the same problems with PPU brass, particularly with CCI large rifle primers. Get a primer pocket reamer or swaging tool, and it should help you seat those primers properly.

It is just a shame they won't make new production ones that are not serrated!

    RP brass in Hornady LNL

You can also try saving the RP brass for your 230 grain loads. 230gr bullets will have a longer shank for the case to hold on to. A .452 lead bullet may work as well.

Who else thinks interchangeable back-straps are stupid?

Until they start issuing interchangeable hands with pistols, interchangeable backstraps will have to do. I have average sized hands, but stubby fingers. That isn't going to change any time soon. There are some pistols I can't shoot. The regular Springfield XD is one I can barely work with...

    460 rowland 1911 conversion

Tread carefully. I'm not saying it can't be done safely, but after reading this thread, I decided not to risk any of my pistols. http://forum.m1911.org/showthread.php?t=44737&highlight=rowland The money quote from our very own 1911Tuner:

Oh this is rich, ruin a Glock with a lever "safety"

It seems to me that a while back, Glock manufactured a batch of pistols with manual safeties, specifically for some European military or police organization. These were not aftermarket refits, but actually rolled off the Glock assembly line fitted with manual safeties. All this talk about...

45 Long Colt vs 44 mag

Both Buffalo Bore and CorBon make 45 Colt "Heavy" loads that will run in your BlackHawk, and match or exceed 44 Magnum standards. Bass Pro/Sportsmans Warehouse/Wholesale Sports had the 325 gr @ 1325 fps loads for about $35 per box of 20. I believe you can also order them from Cabelas for a...

    Wildcatting the .577 NE

H&H, this *is* the guy who was asking earlier this week if it was a good idea to shoot fruit out of trees. :) Pig, the 45 Professional guy claims that even in those "light" weights, the 45 Pro/450B will shoot length-wise through an elephant. I don't know how much of that to believe, but it...

    Wildcatting the .577 NE

The inventor of the 450 Bushmaster claims that he can exceed 458 WM energy with special loads in AR-15 format. Note that is AR-15, not AR-10. Bullet weights are limited to about 325-350 grain range I believe. Since the 450 Bushmaster COL is the same COL as the .233 Rem, it should be...
