I was just wondering would it be possible to build a 25-35 win off of a 30-30 single shot, such as a h&r handi rifle or even a pedersoli remington rolling block. As im thinking all it would require is a new barrel. Has anybody done this? or how about even building one off of a 30-30 lever gun...
I am looking for a new predator rifle. I had planned to get a Kimber 84 pro varmint in 22-250. However I learned yesterday after handling one in 223 yesterday that there isn't even one in my province, and since they are only shipped to canada once a year I will have to wait 5 months to get one...
Today at the gun store I looked at a Winchester 1895 in 30-06. IT was a brand new rifle and I see on there website that they only make them in 405 win. Now has anybody else seen these rifles in 30-06 being produced or is it just a special release? It was priced at $1600.
Im looking for a good farm gun. i got a new job as a farm butcher and need something to put down cattle with. I've seen what the various rimfires have done and don't trust them. i know any 22 lr and put down a cow, however i hate it that one time when one gets back up. Also i could be doing some...
Im deciding on a new rifle that i can shoot lots and double as a short handy bush gun. I have narrowed it down to two different guns. The classic Marlin 336 in 30-30. or the Remington model 673 guide gun in 308. I haven't checked my local gun shop yet but do they still produce the 673? cause...
What is the difference in between these two rifles? Both are made by the same plany/manufacture. So barrells are the same and they seem to have the same features but there is a $1000 difference. does anybody have a answer to this
I am looking at the T.C. Encore and was wondering what is the difference in between the encore and the prohunter? Also how are the accuracy expexted from factory barrels. Cause it will be chambered for 7mm rem mag and 223, so i might replace it with a aftermarket barrels for the 223
I am looking for a new gun in the 6.5x55 caliber. i have heard of the cz models and steyr models. Is there any other guns chambered in this? Also can anybody state the pros and cons of this cartridge? Finally if anybody has any photos of their guns can you post them as well. Thanks
I am looking at getting a marlin 30-30. I would like to put a ramline stock on it. I am debating in getting the blued or stainless version. Which is better for looks. Can anybody post pics of their's.
I am looking for a good truck gun and have a burning desre for a scout gun. So i am looking for a good "scout" rifle in in .223 if possible but i won't mind a 243 as a replacement. I was thinking of a gunsmith cutting down a cz 527 lux and the recrowning it. Would that be with it. Any ideas or...
I was looking at a CZ 527 lux in 223 as a good long/short range coyote gun. But i am also interested in the other models. What are the pros and cons of these rifles. If there is a con. Also what kind of accuracy can be expected from handloading and factory ammo.
This looks like a good all around gun. Is anyone able to give me info on these. Also are the barrels ported anymore? if not where can i get one that isn't?
I am looking for a first coyote gun. Tired of using my 7mm rem mag deer gun. I was looking at the savages and some remingtons. Does anyone have experience with these? I was looking for a more accurate rifle and would prefer to not have to take it to a gunsmith for anything other than a trigger...
