I had feeding issues with my SIG GSR a couple years ago. I sent it back twice. The second time was when Victoria was involved. Problem solved. She is the best when it comes to Customer Service.
SIG should have her train their CS staff.
I carry whenever leaving my house. While inside, if I don't have a J Frame in my pocket, I have something within reach at all times.
It's not a matter of living in a bad area - I don't. Home invasions and the like do not only happen in bad areas.
I carry a Sig P228 most of the time. Second is a Sig Revolution.
If I have an issue with covering either of those, I'll carry a S&W 442 in my front poocket.
I've got a few Sigs and the P6 is one of my all time favorites. Super accurate and fits my hand perfectly.
I am thinking of maybe picking up another one!
My bank (Bank of America) gives you a safety deposit box for free with your account. They specifically mention that no firearms are to be kept there.
As far as carrying - I make sure I'm carrying when I go in the bank.
JIm,
I stand corrected. You are absolutely correct. I should have taken my time and read slower before blabbing about one of my favorite guns! Sorry about that.
The Tanfoglio Witness is available here in the US and has been for quite some time. It is imported by European American Armory. I have the full size 9mm in "Wondersteel" finish. I bought mine from Buds and they still have them at a great price...
Hi Indie,
I tried to get Shooters Choice on Sunset to do a transfer awhile back and was told that they did not do that anymore. They don't seem to care that much about their customers anyway - including the steambox they call a range. Right around the corner on 12th street there is a pawn shop...
I've been buying more than ever. (9mm and .45) Only problem is that I keep shooting more and more! I am starting to take my brass back with me now, in anticipation of reloading in the future.
I was at the West Columbia range where I always go, earlier in the week - plenty of LEO's in there practicing. (Actually had me worrying when I saw the results of their efforts.) There is no shortage of 9mm or .45 acp in two out of the three counties mentioned that I have seen. Unless they...
I have two Sigs. A P6 and the 1911 GSR Revolution. I bought my Revolution without the rail. Had a few minor problems to start and Sig customer service took care of it and had it back to me in less than a week. The gun feels great and shoots dead on. Very reliable. It sits nice in a holster by...
Can't add much more to what XavierBreath has said. He hit the nail on the head in all areas. I also buy from BeltMan. Great quality and comfortable enough that I wear it all the time.
"How often do you shoot/go to the range?
How many rounds do you usually use in a trip? How long do you shoot?
Do you practice with snap caps, dry firing?
How much ammo do you keep or store at home per gun?"

Received my Tanfoglio Witness (full size) 9mm from Buds a couple of weeks ago. This pistol fits my hand like it was made for it. :D Hopefully going to get it to the range next week.
RNB65 - Absolutely right with recommending Bud's Gun Shop. I just completed my first online purchase and bought from Bud's. Had my gun in hand four days after they received my payment. Great communication the whole way through and the lowest price I could find as well! ($336.)
Bought a Full...
Hello from SC!
Hi all,
I've been reading for awhile and thought that it's about time to jump in. This Forum looks to be very informative and with a great bunch of folks. I've been away from shooting for about 20 years and recently started back up. My first purchase was a Sig 1911 Revolution...
