    Travel insurance

What is the amount that is covered by your travel insurance? I'm asking about the amount that coveres emergency medical expenses. Why ask on this forum? Because having the right insurance when you need it is as important as having a firearm when it is needed. :)

    BOBR (Bug Out Big Rig)

If you live in an area where there is even a few % chance of encountering a storm/tornado/flood that can be foreseen, why not get a box van, or even a tractor-trailer. A lot of your possessions could be packed in a few hours, and as a bonus, you could live in a 48' or 53' trailer for weeks...

Biathlon the most popular sport among women

A recent poll in Norway shows that biathlon is the most popular sport with 52% of women. Among men the number is 38%. Now, if only they could start some spinn-off sports like running and shooting, rally with shooting stops, etc. :)

    Bt96

Spent Saturday shooting a MP5. This was both good and bad. Good because it was fun, bad because now I want one. The one I'll try to get is the Bruger & Thomet BT96K. :) I really like the stock as it seems like the one on the SG550 rifles. And everyone knows this is the Rolls...

(Dis)advantage of front mounted red dot

What is the advantages / disadvantages of mounting a red dot sight up front on the handguards. Of course this depends on that you have a stabile system (RIS/RAS etc). Is this for mounting nightvision behind the dot sight, or are there other reasons aswell? (Posted same question at TFL but...

    "Poster-Anti"

For those of you who may not know, this is an example of a anti-gun activist. She was part of the "Wife-Swap" series on tv. Finally we have a candidate for our own "Poster-Anti" Why should the antis always get away with stereotyping gun owners? Someone should make t-shirts and posters...

    Want to shoot a seal?

Now you can come to Norway and hunt seals. There is an anual quota of 2100 seals, but hardly any are hunted. So, now tourists can come to Norway for some adventure out by the coast. :)

    Hunting seals

How many have been hunting seals? (Not the Navy type) :neener: What kind of a gun did you use? Seals are supposed to be weary of your presense, so hunting them while in the water, you will need to give them a lobotomy, because if you hit them in the lungs, they will sink. I might get the...

Update on robbery in Norway. Possibly $257M stolen

The robbery a few weeks back in this thread has some updates. It is believed that 1.8 Billion Kroner (Aprox $257 Million) in Norwegian and foreign currency was taken in the robbery. This clearly puts the robbery as the biggest ever in Norway, and probably one of the biggest in world...

NORWAY: Heat style robbery, cop killed

Just this morning there was a robbery in Stavanger. One police officer was killed in the robbery. The robbers used HG G3's and probably MP-5's and riddeled the whole area with bullets. The robbers were also equipped with bullet proof vests and gas masks, and used CS gass in the streets...

    The fact about supressors

Time and time again I keep reading from those of you that are in the US that "a suppressor is NO use unless you have subsonic ammo". "The *CRACK* form the bullet is so loud a suppressor has no use"... and so on. This is a grave missunderstanding! A suppressed firearm is much more...

HK P2000 and P2000 sub compact

At IWA last week I was looking forward to finally getting my hands on the HK P2000 Sub compact. Well, they had just ONE, and it was locked in a glass case! :cuss: When I first saw pictures of this new gun, I said that finally has HK found some good sense. Finally are they making a...

    Taurus PT 24/7

Have anyone shot the new Taurus PT 24/7 in 9mm? I got my hands on one at IWA, and I have to say that the grip was great! I don't think I've ever held such a comfortable grip on a production pistol. On the 9mm they use the Ribber Grip. I was told by the Taurus rep that only the 9mm...

    WOLF ammuniton

This has been a topic many times, but some of the things I would like to know hasn't been answered. Please be brief, and to the point. [list=a] In the US, is it Brass or Bimetal bullets that are imported? What is your experience with the Bimetal bullets compared to the Brass ones if both...

    Taurus PT 24/7

After handeling the Taurus PT 24/7 I must say that grip is one of the best I've ever held on a mass production pistol! Taurus only offers the rubber grip on the 9mm model. And most plesantly, they come with a 17rnd mags. :) I have very limited experience with Taurus products...

    Too much "point of aim"!

This is what happens when you shoot with a red-dot sight, and take the expressinon "hitting at the point of aim" a little too serious. :uhoh: Yup. That was my doing today...
