I keep my HD pistol locked in a lockbox about 3 steps from my bed. Full mag, round chambered & decocked.

Sounds like you got a P6 with the newer barrel. My 97 P6 has likewise fed JHP's just fine. The older guns have a barrel with a more squarish feed ramp that tends to cause issues with the hollowpoints. What'd you think of the DA pull on the P6?

Yup, I bought my 1st AR-15 just recently since it looks like were gonna have a gun-grabber in the White House this election. CMMG was also having a sale and I couldn't pass it up.

I have 300 rounds of 5.45 x 39 as well as a few AK74 mags. Don't have the AK yet though.
