I have a para warthog. Only problem I had was during "break in" when the recoil spring assembly broke. Para replaced it no question and it's been fine ever since. the para kote isn't very impressive but It does get holstered a lot so I expected wear on that.
Just my 2 cents. I do like Kimbers...
Bud's Gun Shop online had a good price on my Warthog. Just be careful with the FFL transfer fee, I got a little screwed on that due to my lack of research with options in my area.
The only problem with my Warthog was that the recoil spring assembly broke during the 300 round break in. They replaced it no questions asked and it's been fine, though I've only put about 20 rounds mixed hp and ball ammo through so far. The only failures to feed were during the break in when I...
I had one added to my Warthog as the short grip safety just wasn't working consistently for me with my thumb riding the safety. YMMV with other 1911s though.
Very nice. That was one of the guns I considered for a new carry piece. I instead went for my first 1911ish with a para ordnance warthog. Still, nice piece you have there and thanks for the pics and review.
This thread is eye opening. I've been thinking of purchasing a warthog and bud's gun shop had a good price. I may have to rethink unless I'm comfortable the retailer or para will stand behind the purchase/product.
I thought I had put off the psp surplus tempation but then I opened this thread. lol
I finally got to fondle one at a local Cabelas. Felt bigger than I was expecting, but then I should have expected that from all I've read. Nice and thin though.
Darn my tax return and economic stimulus...
Very interesting. Probably out of my price range for awhile though, but good luck in the market.
About the only thing I would change is make the light rail lower profile to improve the overall lines of the gun. Ruger's SR9 seems to have done well with this and it looks like you have enough...
I'll have to try at work sometime. I've had political blogs blocked with the screen saying - porn. lol
You can try going through a proxy website, see if that works. It's a bit of a pain though.
Take over as chair? wow that is a thought! Seems to me there are plenty of reasons to encourage Keyes to run despite the carpet bagger issue that we are uncomfortable with.
