    I think I'm fairly safe in saying there are thousands of pistols made on traditionally rifle platforms in the hands of American civilians. That, in my opinion, validates the use of the word "many".

    PLR-16s, for instance, are nice pistols. Powerful and accurate, and you can load 'em up with big AR magazines and accessories. If you're just going for the gee whiz factor though, I'd suggest a .22LR instead. Like a PLR-22 or, as I think was mentioned, a Ruger Charger.

    Caliber conversion on XD Tactical?

    A while back, I read a thread on 10mm talk about converting an XD .45 to 10mm. If that can be done, I'd imagine that .45 GAP to .40S&W can be done as well, but it'll take a lot of doing. Why not just sell the .45GAP and get a .40S&W, instead?

    Airsoft guns aren't guns, but I'd be hesitant to call them toys, since they can inflict damage on property and people, and animals. I'd call them sporting goods... sort of like a baseball bat.

    What I don't understand is why they'd be designing an AR instead of revamping their Minis to accept STANAG/AK magazines. That, in my opinion, would be more profitable, because suppose they do make an AR-15--what, aside from brand name, will make it different than any other of the dozens of ARs...

    IIRC, POF had some MP5K v-foregrips in stock, but they don't seem to anymore. Never hurts to ask, though.
