Update on my zeroing issue. Removed and reinstalled the rear sight and all is well. Best I can figure I didn't have fastened all the way down. Looked okay but now it's punching the center out at 5 yards, with authority.
After reading all these posts I decided to put a late model RR spring in my 499B to up the fps. I don't have a chronograph but it's definitely hitting harder. After doing the mod it;s hitting high at 5 yards and I've got the elevation all the way down. Had to glue and extension to the post sight...
I always clean the barrel before firing the 1st time. Took about 10 patches to clean the factory gunk out. Scope is mounted and zeroed at basement range [10 yards.] Need a nice day to get outside.
Just got it from Krale yesterday. Wife is/was in holiday decorating mode so I only had time to clean the barrel and try a few shots. A Hawke 2-7AO scope and moint come tomorrow.
Put a red dot on my 2300T using a riser I already had. Looks a little top heavy but I can still use the iron sights if need be. The target is my sighting in target beginning with the 1st hit at 6oclock followed by my adjustments. Shot at basement range[9 yards] with Crosman 7.4 Wadcutters.
Picked this up a few days ago,got it dialed in pretty good with Crosman 7.4 WCs. Might need to scope or red dot it,these 69 year old eyes are having a tough time.
Do yourself a favor and don't look at a vendors website with accessories and aftermarket parts for a 1377/1322. It's a rabbit hole which will suck you in.o_O
