I love my SP2022. Was keeping an eye out for one for a while but never found one locally. About a year ago I met a guy at a not so local shop to transfer a Sig 522 I bought from him, and what did I see when I walked in the door? Needless to say it went home with me as well. It's currently my...

My question to you pistolpositive, would you give up the rights you enjoy now and move to one of those anti gun states to join their fight? If not you can't fault those that wish to leave for the same reasons you won't move there.
You couldn't have picked a worse analogy than you did :banghead:
Car people keep religious logs of their vehicles. Anyone concerned with resale will keep maintenance logs, service history will help with resale.
And as stated, you may need it to verify maintenance was done if warranty work...
Such is life, I can choose to support them or use dialup as those are my 2 choices. It's easy to rant when you have other options available, many don't.
I paid $399 for mine which, as it turns out, might end up being cheaper than the 400 rounds of ammo I'm trying to aquire for it's first range trip :banghead:
I was finally able to get my grubby paws on a 9mm. My local (45 minutes away) GS posted on Facebook on Thursday that they had 50, got there fairly early on Saturday and picked one up. Hopefully going to the range with it next weekend if the ammo I ordered from Cabela's today comes in.
I don't mind them if they aren't excessive, what I hate worse are the read the manual warnings stamped into the frame, the LC9 is the perfect example of a gun I'll never buy.
For concealment something the size of the LCP is probably the best, but accuracy and range enjoyability can suffer with a gun that small. For a good shooter thats going to be fun the Bersa Thunder 380 is a great bargain, but for concealability it's quite a bit larger then the LCP. I can put...
"If you cannot shoot well the capacity means little"
That same statement can be applied to caliber, a well placed 380 is far more effective than a poorly placed 45.
Neither a Glock 26 nor a 1911 is even close to a mouse gun.
To the OP, your not gonna want to shoot thousands of rounds, mouse guns are designed for the purpose of easy concealment, they usually do not make good range guns.
I CCW'd an 84f back in the early 90's when I repo'd cars in Norfolk, used it for trade on a Sig P239, been kickin myself in the rear for doing that for years :(
