If you don’t like the "criminals don’t obey the law anyway" argument what about needing a BG check for a knife purchase, maybe people should be required to take a safety class for that (don’t run, how to remove avocado...
Interesting thoughts by everyone. I guess unless you live in the woods there is no way to really protect yourself against false accusations. In the end, it sounds like the only option is to marry smart and hope nothing goes sour.
To those who voted yes. Have you ever had to go through the appeal process for a wrongful denial? If you have then you would know the .gov can stop you from purchasing firearms for pretty much any reason they see fit. If someone else (not eligible to purchase firearms) has a similar name...
Sounds like everything went as planned. Attack happens. Someone calls the police. Police stop further attacks. Everybody wins, except the guy who got his through slashed :rolleyes:. Universities are willing to sacrifice one person so they can keep their gun free zone signs up.
Interesting story. This might be a record for using the word '"assault" in an article. Another reason why LEOs should not be allowed to own weapons “normal” citizens cannot.
