Jim, this was in a "lot", included with a few other items I bought. The old lady threw it in with the other stuff.
I double checked the stamping on the barrel and it does say "Police Positive". Its got some other stampings on it, a Patent date, then something, something, then 1905. A little...
I got a Blazer..almost the same deal. When I go to the range, I use two locking cases. One with the pistols and the other with the ammo. Both locked of course. I keep them in the back of the Blazer...And I dont give anyone a reason to pull me over:cool:

Just a quick update. I put a trggier lock on the 1911 and placed it inside a locking case. I had a box of Winchester White box ammo in the factory package inside the case as well. I put the locking case that inside another regular looking suit case. I told the baggage lady I had to check a...

I have to fly to Houston texas, one way, and drive an RV back to NJ. I want to bring my Taurus 1911. My flight is on Continental. I have read their policy on checking a firearm...states gun must be in a lockable hard sided case, un loaded, ammo in a seperate container made to hold small amounts...
Being a liflelong resident of NJ, I am, unfortunatly, all too aware of these laws...such as the required Permits, the CCW statutes, etc...thanks for the concern.

I'm looking for a thinner 9mm. I have looked at a few 9mm's at my local shop, but they are all 15 rd double stack models. Looking for a 10 rd or so single stack 9mm for Concealed carry....any ideas? THANKS!

under section II, part C, it says "at least 2 of the following"...Pistol grip and more than 5 rounds magazine...so I'm not sure...
I'm looking at a Mossberg model with an 18.5 inch long barrel, and a 6 round magazine. I have a small lockable cabinet that this shotgun will fit in, and can get a good deal on it. I thought I read somewhere that Pistol grip shotguns are illegal in NJ?????? Thanks for the help! :)
