I have three favorite powders that I use for .223. BLC-2, H335 & Ramshot Tac (not listed in any particular order). All meter very well and burn clean.

I've had good luck with the Wolf SRP. All went bang. Haven't tried any of the LR or LP primers yet.

In my Garand, I've reloaded a couple hundred HXP spent cases & have had good results with them. No problems whatsoever. Staked primer crimp was easy to remove, Just prepped the cases the same as always. I used 4064 & 760 powders & Sierra 168gr bullets.

It's too slow for .223. According to the Winchester Reloading Guide, 760 is a duplicate for the .30-06 Springfield factory load ballistics (using Winchester components) and is recommended for ,22-250, ,300 Win Mag as well as .300 WSM.

I clean my brass as follows: I use a Frankford Arsenal tumbler. I use corncob media. I can usually tumble about 2,000 rounds before I see the lustre fade on the cases, then I'll add one capfull of Flitz polish to the media & that will bring back the 'new-brass' look for another 2,000 or so...

I've had a Franklin tumbler for 4 yrs. Probably ran 8K rounds thru it & no problems. It's a little noisy but it's fast.

Done the kinetic hammer thing. I finally bought a Forster Collet puller & have never looked back. No wood blocks, No banging, no mess, no F'd up up brass or bullets. Just thread it into your press (like a die), adjust it & you're in business.

The trigger makes a difference in shot placement. I have RRA NM triggers in both my AR's. There are several other good trigger mfgrs as, well as opinions, you may want to consider also.
