What is the most unreliable semi auto you have shot ?

Colt Officer's Model. Thing stovepiped at least twice on every mag. Shot this thing over 20 years ago and have never wanted to own a Colt since.

Has Your Glock or XD(m) Broke?

    I've owned a Glock 17, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 26, 27, 30, and a 34, and a full sized XD 9, .40, and .45, and never had anything break on them. Good guns.

What is the BEST polymer-framed handgun line (in your opinion)?

I really like my Walther P99, but I'd be more than happy to use a Glock or HK or an M&P. XDs are ok, but they don't really do anything for me.

    Info on the HK45 & HK45c?

I bought a HK45 last week locally for $875. The grip feels amazing, almost as nice as the P30. I'm waiting for my CTAC holster to show up so I can make this my new CCW. And yeah I can conceal larger pistols.

    Kimber SIS

I really like my 5" SIS. I love the fact that it has no Series II parts, standard length recoil rod and metal MSH. Really like the grips also. Hate the SIS serrations though as they don't give me enough grip to rack the slide with the hammer down. Going to try to put some skateboard tape on the...

    Glock slide closes unexpectedly

I've heard it's something to do with the polymer frame flexing just enough as the mag is slammed home to release the slide lock. If you've noticed, most everyone who has replied that it happens to them own polymer-framed pistols. I've had it happen, and can make it happen on every polymer...

    Glock 17 or XD .45

    Glock 17 all the way.

    What mags for colt 1911

I've only used Wilson mags, either the 47D or the new ETM. Haven't had any reason to try any others.

Can Someone Explain Why 1911s Are So Concealable?

I've tried to conceal a number of Glocks and Sigs, but nothing carries as well as my 1911.

    Indiana residents...

I live in Mishawaka. Don't know if it's been posted here yet, but there is an Indiana gun owner's forum. http://ingunowners.com/forums/ Great place and really friendly people.

Glock v. Rest of the Pistols

I've owned and carried 1911s, Sigs, HKs, CZs, Hi-Powers, and Glocks. All I have right now are Glocks. I guess I like em well enough.

    Heckler & Koch USP

This is correct.. except for the grips.. the sights... the mag capacity.. the different mag release leaver... I would guess that the trigger is the same, except the trigger in the P30 feels a lot better than the one in the P2000. But they both have HK on the slide. That's the same! ;)

    H&K .45 v. S&W M&P .45

I've shot the HK45 a bit but I'll stick with the M&P for now. The M&P shoots just fine for me plus it's a lot less expensive than the HK. But the HK45 is a sweet shooter.

    Help on a polymer

The P30 felt amazing in my hand. Better than any pistol I've ever held. Seriously. Couldn't stand the DA trigger though, so I now own another pistol as my carry piece. But try the P30, it might be the right one for you.

Would you buy a used LE Glock?

Sounds like a good deal! Pretty hard to shoot out a Glock in 9mm I'd think. I've never been able to. :)

LE agencies leaving GLOCK for M & P....

Competition is a good thing. It's nice to see S&W autos getting into more police holsters.

    Glock replacement barrel?

I've heard on a couple forums that Glock has tightened up the chambers on the .40s. If you reload though I'd probably suggest an aftermarket barrel. That way you don't have to worry as much about bulging and you can shoot lead.

Is there a difference S&W M&P or just a smith auto

Every Smith auto I've owned has been flawless. Starting from the 4006 to the 1006 to the 4516 to the M&P 40. I would have no hesitation in recommending a Smith and Wesson semi auto. God I wish I still had that 1006.

    S&W M&P Experience

Love my M&P 40. Have a couple thousand rounds through it with no problems whatsoever. I'll keep an eye on it though, just in case it self-destructs..

    XD vs M&P

I assume by disassemble you mean field strip? In that case I can field strip my M&P with just my fingers and no tools as well. :)
