For pride of ownership the 4” S&W 586 is hard to beat. For utility purposes only, the 4” Ruger GP 100 would be the one. It’s like the cockroach of revolvers: It’ll be here long after we’re gone.

I purchased a 350 Legend upper to hunt with this year and it has been awesome. MOA accuracy and well fit and finished. I like the side charging handle better than the forward assist.

I purchased 5 boxes of 350 Legend, Win 180 grain hunting ammo for $19/box at Sportsman Warehouse. That’s it.

Probably an extractor issue slamming the brass into the ejection port as opposed to slinging it out cleanly. Not a big deal.
