if you are going to point up old checkering, wash it first with warm water with a little dish soap, using a tooth brush. Your checkering cutters will last much longer.
no parts are "free" you pay for them in the original retail price. Lee's prices are much cheaper, one of the reasons is you only have a 2 year warranty.
So RCBS dumps another progressive press. Even though this one works great. I guess it was not selling and was not profitable. I hope I can find a N.I.B. Pro 2000 when the start dumping them, just for a spare.
I find the "supporting for 25 years" hard to believe.
realgun the Pro 2000 is much better than the 550, I ran them side by side for several months. It should be much better than a 550, they had the 550 to use as a starting point.

After watching the video, I would say the priming system is inferior to the Dillon 1050 due to the priming on the downstroke, like all other progressives except the 1050 and the Star.
I hope RCBS continues to produce the manual index Pro 2000 as competition for the Dillon 550 and uses the Rockchucker 5 and 7 as competitors for the 650 and 1050.
Is this new press all steel and iron like the Pro 2000?
