    Choosing a prism scope

I recently purchased a SIG BRAVO 3 prism scope for my Kel-Tec RFB bull-pup. MSRP is $419 but Optics Planet is $308 w/free shipping. It's built like a tank, has sharp bright lenses and has a 5.56/7.62 or .300 Blackout horseshoe etched dot illuminated reticle. Can't wait to get it out to the...

Post Cataract Surgery: Seeing the sights!

No, that was not discussed. Wouldn't that be a gradual process, where you would adapt gradually, as it occurs? I have some issues with my heart, and I might be around long enough to worry about my eyes. Not necessarily a good thing however.

    Recomendations for a Spotting Scope?

I want to buy my son a good quality Spotting Scope, for use at the range. Something that would be good for viewing paper targets at 100 yards, shot with 5.56mm/.223. I'm open to suggestions. Thanks!

Post Cataract Surgery: Seeing the sights!

I had cataract surgery in both eyes in September 2015. I chose Bausch + Lomb Crystalens AO lens. They're very expensive! $7,400.00! Medicare only pays about $500.00 per eye. I did not have any other insurance that would help pay for these. They did make for a nice tax write-off however...

    S&W 386 Nightguard - why no love?

The Nightguard series, when first introduced had problems with light primer strikes. S&W had a free fix. I think people lost confidence in them for a defense weapon. They were not good for much else.

Revolver owners respect their weapons, and wouldn't think of doing something like that!

    Reason to stop carrying?

I know a few people that have a CPL, and never carry! One admitted they have no intentions of using their gun in a self defense. That's it, no explanation, just because.
