I had to laugh. I went to the site and clicked the buy button and the page says their store is under construction. I used to rollerblade right past the original Peterson cartridge factory in northern Cincinnati and that site was also under construction... for DECADES. It was being converted...
I've been using small rifle primer brass since buying a 6.5 Creedmoor. Now, anywhere I look, SRP brass is not available. But, large rifle primer brass is.
Are they stopping manufacturing SRP brass and shifting to LRP brass exclusively? Or, is something else going on?
What are some good reputable places (as well as places to avoid) to have a Glock slide milled for a Holosun red dot?
The place must be able to re-tenifer the cut and not have an outrageous wait time.
The problem is that for magnified glasses, you need a prescription. I was able to buy .5 diopter glasses from Amazon for less than $20 w/o a prescription. Was hoping for the same thing, only tinted.
The clear ones ROCK, but suffer in the bright sun.
Recently I bought some clear .5 diopter shooting glasses that work like a dream. I can now see the front sight while keeping distance fairly clear.
With summer here, I'd like to get the same thing, but tinted. I've searched high and low but have not found any.
Can someone provide a...
I have an M&P 9mm and also a stainless steel revolver. During the summer I sweat battery acid. This results in rust on the M&P sights and frame and sights on the revolver. I normally clean them after each range visit, but my sweat is so powerful, I still get rust.
Anyone have secrets for...
Tom, I have a similar setup. I have dedicated Lee Pro Disc powder measures on station 2 for powder thru the expander. I have one on each of my three die plates - the Lee Pro Disc is very inexpensive, yet incredibly accurate (since it uses fixed sized cavities to measure the charge it never...
Very nice work GW. Looks like I'm going to have a busy summer doing projects!
There is a really nice video on Youtube showing a homemade electric bullet feeder, BTW

Yeah, I've actually owned this press for at least 10 years. Its a great press that is just going through some worn part replacements (spent primer tube keeps falling out, primer strip isn't advancing regularly). I have an air compressor next to the press that I blow the loose powder out with...
Thanks for the answers guys. I'll check out the fingers and/or try adjusting the cam guide/index. That was a very clear explanation of what to do.
Thanks again!
BTW, is this the best place to get Pro 2000 info? I'd be interested in learning of other's tweaks to improve their press...
The primer strips have quit advancing on my Pro 2000. I contacted RCBS who replied
"This is an adjustment issue with the cam #2 on the manual P-2000 parts list or #10 on the auto index P-2000. Move the P-200- cam closer to the cam guide by about .010” at a time or until it indexes the...
I've seen lubes that say you need to heat the metal you apply it to in order for it to bond. I've also heard about heating opening metal's pores. So, I got to thinking - would it be of any advantage to heating a gun when applying its lube? I don't mean those lubes that require it, I'm talking...
Sorry Chuck, my original message was unclear/incomplete. I'm wanting a comparison between reloading .223 and 300 Blackout. .223 is a bear to resize. I'm hoping the 300 Blackout, with a MUCH smaller shoulder, is not.
Hi,
I'm about to buy an AR-15 but shudder at the thought of reloading for it on my progressive press due to the amount of force - and the requirement to lube the inside of the mouth with mica - necessary when reloading .223. So, looking at the very slight shoulder of the AAC Blackout (and...
