Show us a picture of your reloading bench

My Bench, a Year Old Now I finished putting this all together right at a year ago, but just now getting to some photos. This started life as a sad, used, slightly rusty black-painted workbench I got off craigslist. I installed smooth bearing-style slides on the drawers, cut out and wired boxes...

Show us a picture of your reloading bench

Just getting Phase I done...the bench itself. The goal was to make some decent looking and have it inside the house. Since my plan is to get a Hornaday press, I took an old metal work bench and painted it bright red. Fabbed up some vertical boards and brackets for a light fixture, cut out...

Help set-up a Hornady LNL correctly

I'm about to plunk down for a Hornaday LNL progressive press, primarly for reloading .38 Special rounds with 148g wadcutters, and have a few questions: (1) Which type of dies are the ideal set-up for the five stations? #1: resizer die #2: expander die #3: powder checker "comp?" die...

Help finding .38 Special Carbide Dies for Hornady AP press

I have a Hornady progressive press on my short list, and the first set of dies are going to be .38 special. From what I can tell, the Hornady dies are plain steel (from their website). I was hoping to stick (pardon the pun) with Hornady dies, as I understand the press may have trouble with other...

    My New Ruger Accusport Bisley

Got the Ruger out to the range today. Shot about 60 rounds of "Bullseye" Brand .45LC 250g. round nose. After a cylinder full, I got the sights dialed in pretty close, then ran the target back to about to (about) 15 yards or so. Needless to say, I'm quite happy with the results: Recoil was...

AH-1 said: "I have its brother.it came with a 45 acp cylinder did yours ??" Yes it did, but I doubt I'll use it much. Now the .45LC cylinder is going to be used a great deal, I hope! :D

Reloading Bench Ergonomics & Work Flow

I'm hope to start building a reloading bench soon, and plan to use the Hornady Lock-N-Load AP press. I know it mounts just fine to the edge of the benchtop, and I'd like to sit down while using it as well as other reloading tasks. So, what's the ideal height of the worksurface? Should...

I am Legend - DVD Redux

Arrrggh. You mean you DIDN'T see the multiple Honda generators runnings (first shots inside his apartment)? I guess our product placement strategy must need some work. Caveat: I *do* work for Honda Generators, and *do* have a vested interest in them. :D

Never Been Fired? How about "Never been kissed?"

Picked up a minty in-the-box Model 17 this week, three "Ts" and not a scratch on it. Came with box, paper and manuals, but no tools. Paid $542 shipped. Eagerly took it to the range with my favorite ammo, CCI Stingers....they didn't get along at first: I had to press all 50 rounds into...

    On My Wish List

Three on my list right now... M19: Diamondback in .22LR M29: I've got a sweet .357 already, and I doubt I'd shoot the big old 29 much, so that purty Colt is calling to me. I don't own a .22LR DA revolver, and that would sure be the one to get.
