Calling all gun owning foster/adoptive parents in Nevada

With only 2 days left before the April 15th public comment deadline, support to change the regulation that keeps law abiding gun owners from providing a home for foster/adoptive children in need continues to grow. Much to our surprise, Channel 8 sent a news crew to cover our story at the...

Florida Resident Concealed Carry in Nevada

Open carry is legal in Clark County (including Las Vegas, and Boulder City). There is still a dangerous weapon law on the books in the City of North Las Vegas that prohibits carrying a loaded firearm in a vehicle (perfectly fine to walk up and down the street with it, just don't get in your...

    Going to Vegas

Nevada only honors permits from states that have an electronic database of all CCW holders that is accessible 24/7 so Nevada police can verify the validity of out of state permits. From my understanding, only certain counties in CO have electronic databases. So unless that becomes a state...

Martial law imposed by MAYOR in Arkansas?

You won't go in the neighborhood without your glock? So tell me, what is to stop them from "taking" you out, after all you are gun toting by your own admission, and how are they to know you're not a gang banger?

    Fire mission- USAToday Poll

"Does the 2nd amendment give...." Well, the correct answer to that question would be "No". Since the bill of rights doesn't "give" anything, it protects rights we naturally have. However, I think the semantics of "give" and "protect" are lost on the anti's

    Done got disarmed.

Nevada only requires the knowledge of one party to record a conversation, and I'm that "one party". But others may want to check the laws of their states before doing the same.

    Done got disarmed.

Isn't that the same as saying "Isn't it possible he searched the trunk of your car for dead bodies"? By that logic if you get pulled over and your child is in the back seat, shouldn't the officer run the identification of your child just to be sure you didn't kidnap someone else's' kid...

    Confirm a 922(r) MAK-90 question for me

I have a Stamped Norinco MAK-90. I've never modified anything on it since buying it new. I've been reading up on 922 and I think I have it figured out but I want to make sure. If I wanted to install ATI's strikeforce package (this) the stock and hand guard are US made (so that would count...

    He (Didn't) Go to Jareds!

Take a look at my thread from back in July. http://www.thehighroad.org/showthread.php?t=288279 I (as well as other THR members) contacted Jared back then about this policy. I got the brush off at every level I contacted. They lost my business, and I applaud you for taking your business...

Looking For A Small "Quick Access" Gun Safe

http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=2221464 I use one of these in my RV. Cheap, well made, easy to open. And it even has a light, and a shock sensor alarm so if someone moves it or bangs on it the alarm makes a racket (you can disable the alarm part if you want).

    RV Security

http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=2221464 I bought one of these and I love the thing, especially for the price. It even has a tilt and shock sensor alarm that you can turn on/off. So when you're away from the RV, if someone trys to pry it loose or move it, the alarm...

    Manufacturer pistol swapout through FedEx?

I don't know how CZ does it, but when Keltec issues a new replacement pistol, they make up a new one with the same serial number as the one you sent it. So in effect, it's the same weapon on paper, even though it's really a new gun.
