I am thinking of getting one of these:

I don't like how the trigger guard is partially exposed. Opinions and suggestions?
If you ask me, the G17 is the compromise. If you are going fullsize, get a G34 or G17L.
While we are on the topic, a G19 is a joy to shoot IMO. If thats the only issue, I don't see a problem. If you are shooting accuracy competitions, go for the long slide.
I feel like if I am forced to shoot someone outside the home, i.e. not with my fullsize, they are going to be so close that I will be more worried about them grabbing for the gun than missing.
As for multiple assailants, I don't have much experience but I would imagine that putting a bullet...
The one that concerns me most is 592.
Let me ask, since I am shamefully uneducated on the how state governments run, can you tack on riders? And if so, couldn't we get someone on our side to tack on a rider that says something to the effect of "no gun registry shall be kept by state...
In my opinion, a .45 is fine for black bear. You average black bear is not all that big. For a grizzly, kodiak, or polar bear, I wouldn't be confident with a surface to air missle, but for a black bear a .45 would be fine.
Shot placement is counts more than anything.

Can anyone give me guidance on the quality of these guns and their distinctions?
Also...
Do you cut yours up yourself? Or do you have someone do it? If you pay to have it done, how much does it cost, and what are the options? Can you eat them in steaks?
Thanks in advance. I am planning on getting my first deer this season.
I want to get deer coming to a certain spot months before the season. The reason is because I have a farm to hunt on, which has one very excellent spot, but someone using a muzzleloader may shoot a deer there the week before I hunt, thereby spooking all the deer away.
I have picked a spot...
You talk too much and don't listen.
1. Yes, I did say where I was.
2. The day even a subsonic 22 richocets off a 12 oz. tin can, milk jug, or cardboard box is the day pigs fly.
3. I always clean up behind myself, and usually behind others as well, but thanks for assuming the worst...
