    Mini draco!

There are a few (smaller) pistols that fire rounds that will penetrate a ballistic vest. Some even have a similar magazine capacity.

    AMD Grip on a WASR?

Yes, any combloc country's AK grips will fit other country's AKs. The grip on the AMD hand guard is the same grip, just reversed.

    Mini draco!

Link to "mag fit issues" involving the Draco? This is the first I've heard of it.

According to Brownells, spring set may be true after all?

Maybe not. . Glass is technically an "amorphous solid". Over time gravity will pull it downward (a long, long, long time for a visual change). Is glass a liquid? University of Queensland pitch drop experiment

Cold Blue: What Am I Doing Wrong?

I use Van's Gun Blue. I heat the metal with a propane torch (this won't get the metal anywhere near hot enough to damage it) and apply it. Seems to work okay. . .

    Izsmash Saiga .308

You misunderstand. merlinfire was pointing out that you can't use cheap milsurp .308 mags in the Saiga, not that there is a lack of mags for it.

    Izsmash Saiga .308

Yep, and every aftermarket magazine producer makes fully interchangeable models (922r compliance may be required). This was never a military gun, so cheap military mags don't exist for it.

    HK SL8/G36 differences?

Nope, because some of it's not part of the US Code. It's part of the "we (as Congress) will shovel off all the responsibility for gun laws on to the AG's office, and never have to make another gun law" law. The GCA of '68 says only "sporting purpose" guns can be imported. The AG's...

According to Brownells, spring set may be true after all?

This: Also, I'd not put much stock in anything Brownells writes (other than prices and product descriptions), as they've still got the federal AWB listed as "active" (it sunset in 2004).

    HK SL8/G36 differences?

The use of such without making the rifle 922r compliant is a federal felony. It's the same situation as using a 30-round Surefire mag in a factory Saiga. Surefire mags require no mods to the Saiga to work. You are "making the rifle capable of accepting a 'non sporting' magazine" by possessing...

    HK SL8/G36 differences?

If you make an imported "sporting rifle" capable of accepting "non sporting" magazines, it must comply with 922r. If you convert an imported "sporting rifle" into a rifle whose configuration would have been barred from importation, it must comply with 922r.

    Transfer of Handgun

Under federal law, you can mail or ship a long gun or ship via common carrier a handgun to yourself in any of the 50 states.

    Transfer of Handgun

To be more clear, it's illegal for a non-FFL to use the U.S. mail to send a handgun. A non-licensee can mail a long gun to any legal recipient.

    Transfer of Handgun

You should be able to send it to your son's FFL via UPS or FedEX. Shipping through an FFL is not legally required by federal law, and I wish folks would quit throwing it out there as "the" option. The federal laws and shipper's regulations on shipping firearms: Shipping a gun - who, how...

Builiding Registered SBR from an AK "pistol"

It's only thick at the top, where the recoil spring guide fits. Below that, it's quite thin, and this is where most folks drill and tap for their ACE installations.

    AK47 & Mosin Nagant

Century does not make the Mosin-Nagant, and contrary to popular belief, they don't screw up the guns they import just to maintain their reputation. Century doesn't make the WASR, either, they just import it from Romania. Putting Century out of your choices may cause you to spend more than...

    Century Arms Ammo

That's like asking where the air you're currently breathing has been . . CIA imports ammo from hundreds of countries around the globe, from many eras. Can you be more specific as to what type or caliber of ammo you're interested in?
