Seven 9mms in the house, all running the same 124 gr reloads for practice make things a little easier. Usually work up about 2000 rounds at a time (over several sessions) and then don't have to worry about ammo for a while.
Stinger what do you mean; "oN THESE type of guns I feel more comfortable with striker fired or DAO actions."
The "type" is a small 1911 style gun; which can't be striker fired or DAO. If one isn't comfortable with "this type" then they should buy a different "type" of gun. I am ok with this...
The R9s hold their value well. Every so often I think of selling it to fund another purchase as I did when I got the P938. But once I put it in my pocket or waistband in a Remora I remember why I bought it to begin with.
The little R9 is an interesting piece that fills a particular niche in a way that is hard to duplicate with another gun of the same quality.
It isn't near as much fun to shoot or shoot as well as the P938. And although the size difference isn't much the R9 just pocket carries so much better.
Bought one and like it so much after a little trigger smoothing that I have another on the way for my wife. Neither one cost even $600 NIB.
I also have a Rohrbaugh R9S and it is a a pocket gun. The 938 is much better on the waist, I have two Remoras and a OWB for them.
