anyone know whether the Walther PP series .32acp mag will swap into the FEG AP .32? (an updated walther) checking some fotos online it appears they are very similar.
you may know if you own an FEG mags are very difficult to come across.
I've got the pistol grip model with the 'slot' in the butt. anyone have a link to a sling designed to fit this?
sort of reminds me of the m1carbine stock
a word of caution I bought a brick back couple years, had them stored in my basement - a bit more humid than normal but not wet by any means.
loaded around 5 of the trays, the ones fired did fine but the other trays have corroded noticeably 2 of the tray last loaded are discolored/blackened...
I'm supposeing it can and is done but how easily can a cylinder choke be threaded for a choke tube namely the win-choke.
reason for the inquiry is I just bought a Stevens md 320 (I know made in PRC but dual slide bars and great trigger) that I would really like to have threaded for a modified...
have a chance on a nice .32 with target sights and barrel length.
anyone ever owned/shot one of these, a couple-3 different basic models.
seems they were available in .380acp also.?
took it down for new mainspring, it's completely cleaned. single action is fine but double action the trigger will hang up with hammer back just a short way. it's not the cylinder, hand or rachet, it's somewhere in the action
any ideas, suggestions, advice appreciated.
can anyone steer me to a supplier of?
I need a mainspring for an early m&p, it's in decent shape otherwise and would do for wifey last-ditch gun to shoot if shtf loaded lightly w/125gr cast rn
fella says it was his granddads - he raised him after folks died in car accident.
has anyone here ever ran jacketed slugs through a sizeing die - specifically through a die .001 smaller? or is this even possible? results?
the intent is to run .311 slugs through a .310 sizer.
I've never had to size any slugs as the Lee mold 158gr WW cast slugs shoot fine in my .357 GP...
not for sure I saw here a link to a seller, I did a look-over through the last 10 pages and didn't see but think it's been maybe last month - 6 weeks someone asked the same que and a link was posted. I thought it was copes or roze but checking there revealed nothing.
a quantity buy was...
anyone here has used any of their powders in 30-30 for the lighter (150gr and under) slugs?
if so is a data table available? the price sure seems good.
got around to trying some of the 124gr JHP he sells yesterday, +P loads from a Kel-Tec carbine.
fired into stacked, damp 2X4 fir blocks that had been laying on the ground, some coated with about 1/2" of dirt/mud, range about 30' penetration was into the 5th block and expansion was perfect the...
National Rifle Association v. Chicago / McDonald v. Chicago
At issue: Second Amendment rights to gun ownership.
A pair of cases challenge Chicago's 27-year-old ban on handgun sales within the city limits. Originally designed to curb violence in the city, the ban has long irked Second...
is the barrel removeable/interchangeable?
is reciever steel?
action bars - one or two?
have seen a fairly decent buy and considering a 12ga 3" chamber.
I'm aware of a caveat on the 125gr slugs with this powder but any tips for the 158gr jhp (XTP Hornady) is appreciated. evidently a 'good' crimp is required and magnum primers?
I have used AA#9 with both slugs and good results but out of that powder now.
haveing seen the caveats against this I'm wondering if the use of the hard primers such as CCI 34 (IIRC) meant for semi-autos with floating fireing pins would be safe to use in rifles with tube magazines?
Hornady has come out with the 'jelly-tip' of course but loading some 130 gr spitzers...
the micro-groove rifleing. I'm on 'cast boolits' site and some good info there but wondering if any member(s) may have a good 'cowboy' cast slug practice load.
I've tryed cast slugs in my Marlin Camp 9 and .45 (micro-groove bores) with not too good results the .45acp doing better of the 2 -...
