    Has Anyone Ever Seen This?

    I really can’t comment, I don’t use them.

    Ordered a Walther P99-Anything I should know?

I am not sure how relevant it is, but I have Walther PPS in 9MM that has been 100% reliable. I find the 'paddle' mag release a little quirky and the pistol on the heavy side, but it is a shooter and with a good holster, easy to pack. Now, my question to the OP is why would you ask these...

    Pro's and Con's: Glock 22 to a 9mm

I have a Glock 22 and have a Lone Wolf 9MM conversion barrel. I have not noted an increase in weight worth noting. The convince factor more than offsets any weight increase. I mainly shoot .40 S&W out of my 22, but it sure is handy and quick to be able to change to 9MM. Pop out the barrel...

Hi Gents. Seeking a pocket pistol. (deep CC)

My CCW is a Kahr CW .380. Fits well in my front pocket, but that is not my preferred carry way. I got a Remora pocket holster that I slip into the small of my back and the little pistol virtually disappears. Mine is 100% with good SD ammo, but about 85-90 with cheap target stuff.

What kind of sights do you like on your revolvers?

Because of my old eyes, I find that I see the front sights on my Ruger Blackhawks much better by painting them in a Fluorescent Red.

    When Does a .380 Beat a 9mm? Good article

A lot of replies with various points and all good. My opinion, I have a Kahr in .380 ACP that I carry daily because it is small, light and extremely easy to carry in my Remora inside the pants holster. It is the best round? I have not shot anyone with it so I'm not sure, but Is the 9MM a better...

    Walther pps question

Rest easy, they are great pistols. The back strap is removable, but I use the smaller one and never take it off. I have added night sites and Talon grips to mine. The Talons do two things. One they give me a much more secure grip and they cover the back strap. If you clean it and don't take the...

Best Pocket Carry in 9MM ?

Depending on how you want to carry, holster, inside the waist, pocket carry (IMHO, not a good idea) and weight will help determine the pistol that best fits your needs. The Kel Tec PF9 is a decent pistol, mine was very reliable, but I have a Walther PPS that I carry almost daily, my other carry...

I Don't Like Polymer Guns Because....

I never gave the material much thought, until, like several others, I bought a Glock 22. My gun buying has never been the same. Besides the Glock 22, I own a Walther PPS 9MM ( GREAT carry pistol and very Glock like), a Kahr CW .380 ACP and a Ruger SR22P. All polymer, all very light and easy to...

    Colt new issue model 70

I had an older Series 70 (1980 or so) and it soured me on the 1911 and Colt in particular. At that time, the name Colt was on the decline, but we didn't have the internet and forums like this to read, so I got one. The most unreliable pistol I have ever owned. On a normal range trip, I could...

    .223 for Beginners

I will jump in and make my recommendation, a S&W M&P Sport. They are a great rifle for your intended purpose and they are backed with a lifetime warranty. A good, solid rifle and it can be 'upgraded' as you see fit.

What is (would you like) for your CCW?

I have had a Kel Tec PF 9 and it was an ok weapon, light, thin and pretty reliable, but hard to shoot well. I finally bought a Walther PPS 9mm and am very happy with it. Is thin, simple (as in Glock simple) and has been 100% reliable with any ammo I stick in it. I looked at the S&W Shield and...

    Walther PPS for Sig 938

First let say I have a PPS and would not give it up for a Sig 938. The Sig has/had issues and it is a SA w/safety. If you need it in a hurry and isn't why we carry, a safety is one more thing to think about. The Walther PPS is thinner (the safeties make the 938 wider), is like a Glock, pull...

Should I rush out and buy a Ruger SR22?

Thumbs up! Why? Because I have one and have put close to 700 rounds through mine over half of which was Remington Golden Bullets which supposed to be the pits for most .22 LR fire arms. At the NRA Convention in St Louis a couple years ago, the Ruger rep told me the SR 22P is reliable with...

Your Favorite Autoloader - That You Will Never Own & Why ?

My choice is easy, my Glock Gen III G22 (.40). It is 100% reliable, light, simple and has wealth of info and parts out there. The Glock is a weapons system.

    Beretta NANO Question .....

I will add another to the list. A Walther PPS. I looked at as many small 9mm pistols as I could and finally settled on the PPS. I have only shoot a 100 or so rounds through it, but it has been flawless so far. It will take a little getting used to as the mag release is part of the trigger guard...

    Got a windfall, considering a Ruger SR-22,,,

I have a SR 22P and so far it has been an outstanding pistol. I has feed, shot and ejected everything I have feed it, including Remington Golden Bullets which are, at best, marginal in most for reliability in most semis. The only issue I have with it is the way the recoil spring MUST fit to the...

    Bushmaster AR. Need experience!

The Bushmaster is a good, middle of the road rifle. That said, there are now a lot of makers of AR style rifles out there. I went with a S&W M&P MOE and it has been an outstanding rifle for me. When you make your choice there are a lot of other things to consider besides 'mil spec'. I based my...

What generation / version is my S&W Sport?

The way you describe it, I would have to say it is the first version Smith made. Fine rifle. I came very close to buying one, but bought the 1/7 chrome lined barrel M&P 15 MOE ( first version as well) instead. It has been a fine rifle as well. Well over a 1000 rounds of cheap Russian steel case...

    Ruger SR556 question

The best source of info is with Ruger. Their's is a proprietary piston system so asking that on the Internet may get you the wrong answer.
