    BB/pellet gun question

    My neighbor's kid just got a cool new pellet gun. Crossman 1 pump 1,000 fps model. The manual advises oiling every 100 shots or so with the proprietary Crossman oil. Can regular gun oil be used here? Is there some other generic product for this application? Thanks, Scott
