I've had belts from Crossbreed, Gunners Alley (I've been told that when I bought it they were made by the belt man) and Rafter S gun leather. The Rafter S is by far the best of the 3 but they went through some tough times due to a divorce when Della Schafer took over and business went down...
The infidel Ultra is surprisingly slim. Just hoping to find something similar. Used to use a Don Hume clip on until the clip bent and I may still go back to it if I can't find exactly what I want on kydex
I'm a big Comp-TAC fan and my Minotaur MTAC is one of my favorite holsters for bigger pistols. I'd love to have an Infidel Ultra for my Kahr PM9 but they don't make it for that model. They only make the regular Infidel without the leather backing for the PM9.
Can anyone recommend a...
Mayor,
More comfortable against bare skin, more compact, softer and better quality leather, better quality kydex that fully covers the muzzle of the gun and easily adjustable retention. When I first received the supertuck I was a little surprised by the homemade look of the kydex as I was...
I have an MTAC I bought after I returned the Supertuck during the trial period. It's awesome and I agree with Solitude's comments. The MTAC holds my XD45 compact more securely for me. Two reasons - one is the retention bump that holds the trigger guard plus the easily adjustable retention...
I don't know how the Sparks holster attaches the clips but is there a way to attach a set of Comp-Tac clips to the VM2?
I bought an MTAC recently too for my XD45 compact. This was to replace a Crossbreed Supertuck that I sent back during the trial period. The MTAC is wonderful. Best...
Just got mine in from Bud's yesterday:
Here it is loaded with the shorter 10 round mag. The grip is the perfect size for my medium-small hands
And here it is loaded with the longer 13 round mag that has a grip extension on it. I really like the out-of-the-box convertability of...
Oh I see... I was looking at the black compacts with the 5" barrels.
My gun dealer down the street said that all he's been able to get are the dark earth as well. It would have cost me about 80 bucks more to buy the same gun from him though unfortunately.

I didn't even look to see if the black ones were in stock. I just ordered the dark earth because it was something like 35 or 40 bucks cheaper than the black at $504 shipped. According to their tracking it looks like it will probably ship out today.
I've got one on order from Buds Gun Shop. Should be here early next week. I ordered a bunch of 230gr Gold Dots to feed it. Looking forward to getting this gun.
I carried for several years in a Comp-Tac CTAC. It's a great holster but I sold it with that gun last week and I've decided that any IWB holster that I get from now on will either be leather or leather-backed. I may end up with a Crossbreed Minituck for my PM9. I also need a holster for the...
That's just physics. The bullet with higher sectional density will penetrate further. I suppose there would be some velocity point at which the 124 would have equal penetration but the handgun bullets don't typically reach that velocity.
brad
CPShooter - it's not theory regarding the 9mm. It's purposeful bullet design and proven by careful chronographing. I don't know about the other calibers but I do know that greater sectional density tends to result in deeper penetration which is just something else to chew on.
To anyone who has ordered from tactical defense systems:
Did you get a confirmation email following your order? Just wondering because I didn't and I don't know if that's normal or not. If thts the norm then it's annoying because there also seems to be no way of tracking or checking your...
The "general wisdom" about light bullets and short barrels is based on flawed logic. 147gr bullets lose a lower percentage of velocity out of short barrels than the lighter bullets. Check out this thread that has some great and solid resources including commentary from Paul Nowak, the senior...
I think the gun dealer down the street thought I was full of it the other day when I was tellling him about the SF. He couldn't believe that I'd have heard about them but he, a Glock dealer, had not.
