M&P40C??? Glock29??? BrandX??? -Fishing For Opinions Here

Just bought a 29, and love it. I too live in CA, so the 10 round limit made it an easy choice for me. I don't think it's too small at all, though I have small hands, and have the mag extensions for an extra grip. Recoil is not nearly as bad as some people would have you believe. I think it is...

    New Sig Sauer P239 *PICS*

Just bought one in 9mm, and love it. Don't have it in my hands yet, but have put about 300 rounds through a different one, with no problems. Not a carry gun for me due to CA, but I have small hands, and the gf feels comfortable with it as well, she actually picked it.

    Knife at School!

I agree completely. I'm only 20, so never lived in a time were you could bring normal things to school. I have some prescription meds, and I couldn't even have those on me. I got in trouble for having MY medication on me. Apparently the office gets to have control of it. So stupid.

    Knife at School!

I carry a knife to school everyday. Though I don't show it off, it is there the whole time. I think you went too far, but that's just my opinion. If it was just him with some friends, he was joking around. I think you should have talked to him, but I don't know about going all the way up...

    New Knife AUK drop point

Looks good! Can't wait to get mine as well. I too have never really spent a lot of money on knives except for my balisongs, but was intrigued by what looked like a good working knife. Simple design, and looks very functional.

What would it take to get the 2nd Incorporated?

California already has a couple of cases going, and one is fairly far along in the process due to actually being started awhile ago. Also, there is another one that should just be getting started over the AWB we have here. EDIT: Calguns has actually raised 10k since 11am the day of the Heller...

Heller and M16s/ Heller vs. 922(o) (threads merged)

Kurtmax, But you have to think about how much money $3171 was back then. Just did a quick search for how much a car was, it was $100, and $75 on sale.

Think I've reached that "saturation" point...

+1 any NFA device or weapon. There are plenty of old NFA things which would at least peak my interest to mess around with.

    Heller: "written in that sitting"?

I don't understand why people are so upset with the habeas case. Nobody, no matter what, should be detained without being charged with anything. Its just wrong on many levels, and what is to keep them from doing it with more people? What did these people do that are locked up? Innocent until...

    LOL

Yeah, I did the same thing with the ammo. So I went to a different store sometime later thinking maybe that store was just stupid. Nope, sure enough 47 bucks for 50 rounds. I now don't even bother going into Big 5.

    California goverment must be taught

Nothing would keep them from doing that. But your idea is exactly what they want. No guns coming in. Much easier for them to regulate what is already here. And if you want to do what is keeping them from doing ___. What would keep other government agencies from sending stuff to them...

    Automatic firearms--what's the draw?

I'd have to say thats the number one reason. That combined with the fact that I just want to hold down the trigger and watch as it just keeps firing.

    LSAT rule

Its not so much about you being legally allowed to do it, as it is not being able to take the test. Chances are if you are taking the test you worked hard in college, and want to be a lawyer. It then becomes a choice of following the rules of the test, and not carrying, or doing what is legal...

    California goverment must be taught

An embargo on the people who live here is exactly what they want. They don't want guns coming in, and are using this as a means to do it. If you don't want to sell guns to CA that is fine, but don't think you are helping anything. Not selling to the police and government is one thing, but...

    California goverment must be taught

Everytime a new law in CA comes up its the same type of responses. Don't send anything to CA, and dont buy anything from CA. There is no logic at all in those statements. When you decide not to ship to CA to show the government you aren't happy, you get nothing positive done, and something...

California Law Changes July 1 - Affects FFL Xfers

No, he or she is saying you don't understand the law. Which you must not if you think it will start next year. Read what the law actually says instead of just taking it for what YOU think it says. It is a common misconception which many people have that it will just happen to work. While it...

California Law Changes July 1 - Affects FFL Xfers

I agree with ArmedBear. All of CA is not anti-gun, it just happens the the two largest cities are. I live right by San Francisco, and its horrible. There are fights going on, some successfully as well. It is a long and uphill battle. If I was older and established in the state with a job, I...

California Law Changes July 1 - Affects FFL Xfers

It is getting pretty rediculous here. After I finish my 4 years of undergrad work, I may look into getting graduate studies done in a different state, and seeing how I like it. Seems like the easiest way to move, but not completely move. I'll fight here until then, but its like they don't...
