The added features of the Classic (cast iron) Turret Press make it a better buy than the Deluxe (aluminum) Turret Press. The Classic seems to come only with 4 hole turrets, the Deluxe with three.
As I load mostly pistol cartridges using 3 dies, it seems I'm going to have to make an extra...
This revolver has got a bunch of gunk built up on the rod through the cylinder. It's getting pretty stiff to push and need to be cleaned. How do I take this out?

I bought this pistol about two weeks ago and hadn't been able to find range time until yesterday.
This is a good pistol. I bought it used at the local fun store for $140. It's a little used but has no major blemishes. It came with two mags also saving me about $20 for a spare. This gun...
A friend who recommended the Sigma told me that once I mastered it, I could shoot anything.
I picked up a FEG PA-63 yesterday. What a great trigger. Single action is a little light but I think I can get used to it.
I don't understand all the whining I read about the PA-63's trigger either...
I found a synthetic stock on Midways site. Just wondering if there were other options to buy a replacement stock through at a reasonable price? This is a working rifle so it gets bumped, dinged, etc.

I've been shooting a 180 grain lead truncated cone bullet using 3.3 grains of Clays powder with good accuracy. Book says this should be around 800 fps from my 4 inch barreled SW40VE.
I bought some 170 grain LSWC's and loaded a test batch using the same charge of Clays. I got one ragged...
I placed an order with these good people last Friday at about 4pm.
500 40cal 170gr LSWC's (IDP 2)
500 357cal 158gr LSWC's (357 Action)
I got home today and the stuff is on my doorstep. Packaged well enough. Everything in good shape and accounted for. Bullets look great.
Couldn't ask...
Am I going to get better results practicing at the range once a week with 50 to 100 rounds or going every 3 to 4 weeks and going through 200-300?
If it's like the gym, I'm better off doing less regularly than cramming it all in once every three weeks.
After 100 rounds I start feeling fatigued...
Thought this was an interesting story. They don't mention how dangerous the rouge Cricket stick is.
