I'm looking for something like a left handed bergara hmr in 223. does such an animal exist?

I have considered that. but even then, not a lot of right handed 223 bolt guns that are not a traditional hunting style stock. I'm seeing the american gen 2, or the winchester xpr, and there aren't a lot of aftermarket stock options for that. maybe the cz 600 alpha?

I'm looking for something like a left handed bergara hmr in 223. does such an animal exist?

I'm looking for something like a left handed bergara hmr in 223. does such an animal exist? or am I going to be looking at building something? And if I build, is there a way to do it that doesn't cost $2000+? I'd thought I might find a used Remington 700 and put in a barrel nut prefit (remage)...

If I wanted to put a 9mm upper on a regular AR lower---

So, I got an early one, and it killed the ejector spring pretty early on. Cmmg sent me a shorter stiffer spring that seems to be doing the trick. The original died at maybe 300 rounds. The 2nd is going strong at about 800 or so so far. I'll be honest though, I shoot the suppressed 38 lever gun...

If I wanted to put a 9mm upper on a regular AR lower---

i did the 9mm ar15 2 ways: 1) 9mm glock lower, heavy buffer blowback upper. it worked fine. recoil was greater than a 223. 2) regular AR lower, mean arms endomag, and a cmmg radial delayed upper. uses a standard buffer, so converting from 223 to 9mm is and upper and mag sway only. The ejector...

Marlin experts needed- 336TS with 18.5" barrel and no cross bolt safety

The 1894c is wearing a Leupold vxii 2.5x in a scout mount. Eye relief is long enough that you clear the hammer, but it does make mounting a problem. It's too long for a conventional mount and really too short for a scout mount. The 336 on top wears a Burris timberline 2-7x26 compact scope. But...

    so called cowboy "assault rifles"

I threaded all of mine for suppressors. They make wonderful hosts and don't toss brass into the next county. And the older I get the more I wish I had more forgiving materials than blueing and walnut. And my eyes can't see irons very well any more. So yes, I can see the appeal of the "tactical"...

hamerli force b1 hands on impressions (spoiler: not good)

this is by no means a review. But a local shop had one of the new hamerli force b1 straight pull guns in stock today. I was very much looking forward to the gun. When I got it in my hands, the initial impression is "cheap" like, keltec cheap. stock was cheap feeling, the trigger was small with a...

Show us a picture of your reloading bench

The other presses are in the cubbards on qd plates. There are more things in the closet. And under the bed. And in the cabinets. And in the garage........ It's bad guys. I do need a better stool though. That northern tool cheapo is not comfortable.

    Loads for '85 Winchester .357

I cannot imagine a rifle I need less or want more. what a great piece. I cannot help you with loads. all mine are geared for subsonic suppressed shooting. however, most anything should shoot all right. much like 308, 9mm, 45acp, or any old caliber, loads data is.....extensive.

Lengthening stock of 30 M1 Carbine

I've got a choate pistol grip stock in the closet I was was given one time that has a longer LOP. I ran it with a scout scope for a little while. it was a more functional gun, but it wasn't an m1 carbine, so I put it back or original (ish) and grind to fit pads aren't super hard to do. screw on...

    The sks rifle. your thoughts

I sold my norinco after I shot 30 rounds at a piece of computer paper off a sandbag at 100 yds, then shot 30 out of an AR @ a sheet next to it. Using irons. Sks: 11 rounds on paper. Ar: 30 rounds on paper. My cousins and brothers are more accurate. Trigger/sear engagements on all 3 are crude to...

Acceptable accuracy for a .357 carbine at 50 yds?

My 2.5x scoped 1970's era marlin can do 5-8 rounds under 1" with my lead hand loads all day long at 50. I use a fat bullet in the microgrooved barrel. I run it at .360. I have been unable to do as well with 30-30 or 44mag.

New turret press under development with 3/4/5/6 configuration turrets

Maybe I missed it, but here is the product page for the new ultimate reloading press https://leeprecision.com/ultimate-turret-press-overview Looks interesting. I'm not going to dump my classic cast and Dillon 650 for it, but If I had nothing, it might be a compelling option.

Favorite cartridge for the AR-15, and it's use case.

I have uppers in 223, 9mm, 300blk, 300 hamm'r, 6.5grendel. sold the blackout and i felt it was anemic in SBR form. never shoot the 223 shoot the 9mm some when I just want to plink, but usually I plink with other platforms. I've about decided the AR is just a hunting rig for me. I'm not a...
