Looking To Replace My Current EDC Pistol

Pick your gun, then see if you can find a Bianchi Pistol Pocket to fit. They are available on eBay. Just sayin'.

    Ruger LC9s as good as a S&W Shield 9mm?

I guess you could call me the Economy King. I found the Ruger EC9s, apparently unfired, in a Pawn shop for $175.00 with a box of Blazer Brass 115grain FMJ. I put a Hogue Handall on it, and it works for me when I can't carry a full-sized gun. I have two 7 round and two 9 round magazines for it...

    New .22 Day!

I bet it's more accurate than my Henry AR-7 US Survival Rifle with an "inexpensive" (It was free from Amazon. Don't ask.) red/green dot sight.

What are you feeding your 22lr rifles?

I have a bunch of Remington bulk .22 LR that I can't find right now, but I did find a 325 round box of the Federal 36 grain CPHP ammo in the garage that still had the original price tag of $19.00. That's what I'm loading in my new Henry Survival Rifle.

What is the last gun that you bought?

Last month I purchased this 9x19mm S&W SD9 with black Melonite slide and Hi-Viz fiber optic sights as my EDC to replace my S&W Model 65-1 which is effectively irreplaceable. Then, on Sunday, I bought this .22 LR Henry Survival Rifle to carry on our travels. It fits nicely in my backpack with...

    Phalanx holsters. Pretty cool.

I had one for my S&W 469 that worked well and still does for my grandson. It will work well for your 6904.

    Riots, mobs and survival

I was already doing this, but now I have to buy safety glasses for however many people will fit in my vehicle. My prescription progressive bifocals are polycarbonate, but now I'm worried about over/under/sides. Need safety goggles and hearing protection for my 60 pound Lab mix, too.

    Nightstand Pistol

Very nice! The guy at my LGS kept saying that the Exatar EP9 had "a LOT of plastic" on them. They're still listed at around $419.00, but they're gone almost as soon as inventory hits the site. I bought my S&W SD9 because I wasn't going to live on the Extar website.

    Threaded barrel for S&W SD9?

Does anyone make a threaded barrel for the S&W SD9? Just asking, because,...

May the revolver gods forgive me!

They are just fine, resting comfortably in the pistol safe until things calm down enough for me to start wearing them again. The S&W Model 65-1 will likely come out during hunting season if I can manage to get to the woods. My back yard:

May the revolver gods forgive me!

Just wondering, does anyone make an extended threaded barrel for the SD9? Y'know, just because.

    Nightstand Pistol

I fired a .357 Magnum one night a hundred years ago (seems like) in a 4 foot wide hallway with linoleum tile floors, plaster and lath walls, and stamped metal ceiling. The idiot that was shooting at two deputies threw his little nickle-plated .32 out from around the corner of the hall. Between...

    Which compact pistol??

Thought I recognized that light with the outlet on the base. The husband of one of my nieces (nephew-in-law?) carries an SR40C.

    Which compact pistol??

The Ruger EC9s (lower left) cost $175.00 (no box, 1 mag) at a pawn shop across the street from a casino, and the pawn shop gave me a box of Blazer Brass 115 grain FMJ. I got the Hogue Handall inexpensively and three more magazines (a 7-round with finger rest & two 9-round extended mags) on line...

I'm not one to rant but here I go....

I don't seem to have that problem, but this also isn't a $2,200.00 CZ, not that I'd pay that for a working gun. :D

    Phalanx holsters. Pretty cool.

Back when I got the compact holster for the S&W 469, I sent an email to Phalanx Defense Systems praising their product. I got a nice email back from the CEO, and he sent me a t-shirt and one of those string strap backpacks. My grandson is still using the compact to carry the 469. I just picked...

May the revolver gods forgive me!

Until the recent bedlam in the streets and rioters moving into neighborhoods and blocking streets and highways, my revolvers were just fine for concealed (or open) carry. Now there are just too many pieces of offal in the street too many places too long and with too little regard for the rights...

    Handgun for small hands?

The guys at the range come to see what all I brought to shoot whenever I show up. "What is that?" is often heard.

May the revolver gods forgive me!

My traveling loads now are 16+1 with 2 spare 16 round magazines and 7+1 with 2 spare 9 round magazines. Total ammo including what is in the pistols is 75 rounds of 9mm.
