If the grips are original take one side off. There is a date on the inside of the grip. It should be close to when it was made.

Have a 24/7 Pro 45. In the beginning I was getting a few light strikes. Sometimes they would fire the second time.
I then started to apply gunscrubber in the firing pin channel and the problem went away. I do not put oil in the firing pin channel.
