Yeah Ive seen that too, I don't know whats up with that. Its two different guns with the same name (not counting the Vepr K and the Vepr Super). Maybe someone else could explain it to us.

I do pretty well at 100 yards with my Vepr K (the only AK variant I have). Never tried much of anything past that. Although I did mange to cut a 2x4 down at about 50 yards once, took a lot of ammo (that was back when I was paying 0.08 a round).

How hard is it to make all of these modifications? Such as changing out the barrel and adjusting the trigger group. Also, after all these things are done what kind of accuracy can/will you get?

Mine was Mosin Nagant 91/30 dated 1944 that’s an Ex-Sniper with the scope mount holes filled in and “CΠ” on the receiver and a different stock.
