I bought 250 Berry's 115 gr plated bullets for 24.99. I'm loading for just over .10 cents per round. Can't see changing powders for quite...

Hi Guys, I took about 100 pounds of scrap brass down today to sell it at a scrap yard. Both places here in Reno told me they don't take brass casings. They didn't specify why. The first place told me they would take them if they were completely flattened. That is just to much work. 100...

    Brass on the ground

My wife gets so excited about scrounging brass that she act like a little kid in a Chucky Cheese Restraunt. Pretty comical. We save it all. What I don't reload goes into our scrap brass bucket to fund my reloading. As of last weekend we have 66 pounds of scrap brass to sell. :D Tony

    Most gun friendly, beautiful state?

Don't come to Nevada. We are full of Commifornians. To cold in the winter and to darn hot in the summer. It is a dry, barren wasteland and you wouldn't be happy here. No beaches or green country to speak of. Besides the housing prices are way uot of reach. Best stay where you are at...

    Old reloads and old powder.

Hi jr, If you do find some loaded ammo in all of this stuff that you are aquiring and you feel you need to get rid of it because it is unsafe, you may want to take it to the local law enforcement station and explain the situation. They have the access to safely dispose of it for you and...

    Loose primer pockets

Loose primer pockets? Smash the case so it can't be reloaded and toss it in the big round recepticle next to your reloading bench. It's not worth the risk no matter what the round is. Tony

    Another range moron heard from...

Range Morons Hi Guys, After reading of all of the potential mishaps at ranges, it's gotta make you think twice about shooting in a public range. I'm glad that two friends and I set up a 400 yard range on public land and nobody knows that it is there. It's pretty obvious what it is if you...

    .30-30 powders

30/30 Powder I use IMR 3031 in my 170 grain bullets. Really like that combonation. I use Re7 in lighter bullets. It seems to like that powder also. I load 32.5g of Re7 in a 110 grain bullet for "stump" shooting, if you will, and have found that this load in MY RIFLE will reach out to 500 yards...
