    Frog - I had both Varget and w748 on the shelf and wanted to limit how many different powders I kept on hand for rifle loads. I use Varget exclusively for my .308 R25 (42.2g varget w/168g SMK) and w748 for my .223 AR-15 Varmint rifle(25.5g w748 w/69g SMK).

    I use 165g SGK and 165g Interlock. Either will get the job done. Both hit hard and will easily bring down a deer. Bagged 6 buck so far this year. 4 using Interlock and two using SGK.     Powder Measure broke, need help!!

    A reloading friend and I both had the same issue and we discovered it was caused by leaving powder in the hopper. The part of the plastic tube that seats into the metal part of the powder measure "shrinks" causing a loose fit. Both of us reload in our sheds where it's always hot and humid...
