    too much magazine capacity?

Well, I just turned 60. Until a month ago I usually carried a S&W 642. I have replaced it with an S&W M&P9c with 12+1 capacity. My eyes aren't what they used to be - I'm starting to need glasses for more situations than just reading. Plus, I live in Philadelphia where in some places you just...

    rethinking my CCW choice

CCW Choice For the most part in the past my carry gun was as S&W 642. But I have recently switched to a S&W M&P9c with a capacity of 12+1. I have over 800 rds in this auto and have not had a single FTF or FTE. Of course, I still have my 642 (along with other firearms), but now I carry the M&P.

    Looked at a S&W 60 357

J Frame Model 60 Great gun. Used to carry it all the time; but now I carry a 642 Airweight in .38pl +p (internal hammer, so DAO). I like the option with the Model 60 of single action. The advice that S&W gave me was shoot .357's occasionally, but for most practice use .38 sp or .38 +p...

Two Odd Things Happened While Cleaning My Guns...

S&W1911 Don't forget that if you depress the grip safety on the S&W1911, the firing pin block lever will be in the up position - this will prevent the slide from being retracted fully to the rear. Sollution, grip the side panels without depressing the grip safety. Slide should go to the rear.
