Out of my collection of over 100 hand guns there is 1 Hi-Point.
It has never, "Yes I said NEVER" failed to go bang regardless of whether I used factory or my own hand loads. Accuracy? Not up to being used in Bulls Eye competition or any other competition either.
BUT, it will hit minute...
I'm also betting that Hi-Vel ammo was being used or used in the past!
BTW, is not the Henry .22 mostly pot metal as is also many other semi auto rifles?
I also have a HP22 in my collection of a couple hundred firearms, it is fun gun to shoot, as is the Hi Point, as is my Springfield 45 and my...
If you purchase a firearm in the state of Indiana from a FFL one needs to fill out form 4473 at the time of purchase and wait till the computer/phone background check is complete regardless of ones carry license. Law enforcement and retired law enforcement may be different!
Don't believe it...
Indiana does not issue a concealed carry permit.
We have a license to carry any way we see fit, open or concealed!
I have had a license for years, and I still fill out the 4473 at the time of purchase.
Still have plenty of the regular off the shelf stuff, paid $8 to $10 bucks a brick.
What I buy now is the match ammo that costs approx. $120 bucks a brick.
I also wonder if folks get this worked up over all the mailing they get from the local Ace hardware, Walgreens, free local ad paper, or AARP.
Gotta have something to grip about, don't you!
For those who do not like all the mailing from the NRA, get off your dear rear end and call the 800 number on the back of your card and have them put a stop to it, they Will.
Seems more like just a reason to belly ache about the NRA!
I live here in No. Indiana, and have all my life "73 years", I've purchased handguns from pawn shops many times.
As far as the selling value of a "used" yes it's considered used as you purchased it even tho you have not fired it. Any where from $110 to $120 dollars, and yes they are a good gun...
I'm 73, I truly pray I never acquire this. Not for my sake, I wouldn't know the difference, but for my wife and 2 daughters sake. I would never wish to put them thru it!
