    Whittaker Guns closed

That's sad, very sad. Very straight, honest people always with very competitive prices (have them on speed dial on my phone LOL). I used to buy from them many moons ago when CZ was an unknown brand. Hope my best for the family and employees.

Is Taurus a Good Brand for Revolvers

If you are lucky with a good one, great enjoy it while it last. If you weren't in the prior list, pray for the manufacture to give an ETA of the part you might need.

    Factory CZ 457 mags

I've no issues with them mixing them up in same rifles.

When I heard my time by the pards and said out loud CLEAN.

Anyone else find they were more sensitive to recoil after losing weight?

Not really more sensitivity after losing weight but adding more years to my date of birth.

    Henrys new .223/5.56 rifle

Manufacturers are trying to survive with new/ old revived products since market is in the middle of uncertainty period and a tad saturated. Since many owners are full loaded with Magpul mags is a good approach to them.

    PSA Resurrecting the STG-44

Watching the link, you can appreciate it's made in one piece of steel not stamped (even better). Let's be honest sometimes we buy some tools, toys we don't need but we do anyway. I will bite one after kirks are polished by PSA.

Anybody strip a Marlin mar-shield stock?

Craig, as Dave pointed any chemical is very harsh on stocks, sanding won't change the original wood color. Unless you want to stain, paint or use another method for finishing. I've found using three different # sandpapers plus an orbital sander fulfill my intention on woodworking projects in...

    Standard Manufacturing SAA .45

Amazing finish. Looking forward for your comments on the STD.

    CZ600 Closeouts

I do totally agree with your comment, something very similar to the 452 series in 22 cal.

Ruger Super Wranglers for 270 bucks....having a hard time resisting...

I would get the wrangler for several reasons. But mostly because dealing with the Taurus family warranty is a (HA) headache.

Would you buy a Bersa Thunder 22?

Yeap, good guns for the money. Affordable plinkers, reasonably accuracy for a short barrel, trigger is fine to make tomatoes can lighter. One caveat, magazines are a tad expensive. and hard to get. Sight dept is better than my luxury Walther. Just be careful when disassembly it to put your main...

    45 Colt, Blackhawk or SAA?

For competing in SASS as routine Ruger win (better service and solid guns overall), Uberti and Italian clones looks nice and shiny mostly run well, but service and parts on vital components you are on your own. When coins are the issue, the Italians get more fans. Lately Ruger's beside an...

    A Winchester 9422 with a weird finish for 275$ . . . Yay or Nay?

Don't waste time on going to the local palm/card reader just buy it and play lottery/local casino as fast you can. Lastly, change your THR's name for lucky or something.

    .45 LC vs .357

For cowboy style shooting / SASS competition, which is a great sport / get together thing. It depends on the rest of your gear (rifle) having two types of ammo to reload or carry it can call a mistake (you won't be the first to made it). If your is rifle in 357-38 buy a single six according to...

    Which 45-70 Lever Action?

Provably there are more Marlins running out there than Winchesters in 45-70. There is something about Winchester's rifles than I can avoid, maybe my devotion, admiration, respect for JMB that made me fell attached to the brand over the years, until today. Nevertheless, I'm more than happy that...

    $10,000 Allowance

Sure, I heard that many times, and I said that to myself the exact words. However, as I got older I've learned to do not rush to decisions.

    New PSA Dagger slide

I have a former coworker offering me his A Arms conversion kit 22 cal. for free. It might be interesting to mate it with PSA Dagger frame. Father's Day sound a fair celebration for this honest, hard worker, faithful and lovely man.

SIG P225 / P6: the weirdest-looking, prettiest SIG pistol IMO

The Sig 225 is a quiet winner, sadly the single column rounds mags got into the past and its weight is a boat anchor for today uses. Sig re-surface it for a reason it is in my opinion one of Sig's overal best. Nice videos keep it up.
