Not that I am aware, but I'm sure that any developments will have to be cleared for release by their attorneys. As of now there is no indication of progress. David

That's a terrific find and excellent choice. There is nothing I like better than seeing the proper start of another responsible gun owner. David

    Cavalry Arms Raid +150 Days

Today is the 200th day since Cavalry Arms was raided. The ATF has yet to file any charges and is proceeding with civil asset forfeiture. And good deals on Surefire flashlights if they have any left. They also market a line of softside gun cases that don't scream gun. I don't know what...

    7.62x25mm modern platform

The 9mm Witness and 38/10/45 Witness are different frames. I think you will have some problems using the 38 Super magazines in the 9mm. I could be wrong and it won't cost much for you to test. David

Lowest Cost Revolver Suitable for Home Defense

Looks decent find to me. See if you can get the price down $15-20 or have them throw in a box of ammo or cleaning supplies or something. You may want to get a few boxes of standard pressure WC or FMJ for the initial few range sessions. The lower recoil/muzzle blast will help concentrate on...

    7.62x25mm modern platform

I don't think the Witness will feed the surplus ammo, but you could try. People have rebuilt Witnesses in past days of IPSC to function with a 9mm casehead, but I don't know what the degree of difficulty might be. The 38 Super slide of the 1911 works pretty well with 9mm based cartridges but...

There is lots of work going on with the Tok in the AR15 right now. Marty at Teppo Jutsu (the 458 Socom guy) is getting a mag block ready for market that will surplus russian subgun sticks. David

WVCDL in Martinsburg, WV on 08/14

After reading it again, it doesn't seem to be as weak as I remembered. Maybe I was thinking of another state? It looks like they only update the online searchable code once every year or so. I might stop by the legal library today (if I find time) and look for a hard copy. David

I can't find the updated code, here is the bill that was passed: A BILL to amend the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, by adding thereto a new article, designated §61-2A-1, §61-2A-2 and §61-2A-3, all relating to the castle doctrine generally; creating a presumption of reasonable...

The Tok will fit and fire in the Mauser, but the headspace will be slightly loose. Surplus Tok ammo isn't going to feed in the 1911. David

Lowest Cost Revolver Suitable for Home Defense

The money that I collected has been received in CO. Hopefully the total monetary assistance will approach $200. Has anybody looked in to a training class? I think that is a solid plan. Good luck on the hunt for just the right gun. David

    Is the 12 really needed?

Sure it does. The powder/gas has mass and moves out the barrel at a good clip once it is uncorked. Ever use a fire hose? In rifles, the powder makes up a large portion of recoil energy. That is why muzzlebrakes work. David
