Actually, I fixed it! After I posted this I figured that maybe I could take out just the firing pin - looked like a small pin was holding it in, so I took a punch and started whacking at it. This apparently loosened the firing pin up enough so that now it isn't getting stuck - tested it out...

Yeah, from what I understand since I have the 7 shot extended mag tube, it mates up with my current barrel in a different way. The tube and the barrel are the exact same length. But I think a 4-6 round mag tube is OK with any of the other barrels.
