I didn’t see anyone mention type of leather. Veg tan vs chrome, etc I would use veg tan leather and treat it thoroughly all sides with something like sno seal or boot wax.

A note on grinder attachment for the kitchenaid mixer. The old kitchenaid mixers had metal gears. For quite a few years they have used plastic except for some of the artisan models. Even if they work for awhile, they aren’t anything like a regular #8 or larger grinder.

Without suggestions for gun racks I will comment that if you buy a decent inexpensive winch you will use it a whole lot more than you think. And you can never have too much light. Rig some aux led lights- they keep getting better and cheaper. Front and rear at least, sides if you desire.
