Everyone in Mississippi:
My state representative, Mark Formby (R-108), has introduced a bill removing churches and places of worship from the list of places it is against the law to carry a LEGALLY concealed weapon (with a permit).
It is House Bill 1082 (HB 1082) and you can find the text...
Did VA at the time not allow CCW in commercial vehicles for some reason? What was the law on that? Is it still that way?
Curious minds want to know....thanks.
I thought it was interesting that the only way SC will issue non-res permits is if you own land there.
Maybe if your family owns a big enough parcel of land they could sell/give you some? Like .25 acre or somesuch.
I, as well, was unaware. Website? Information on joining? Etc?
I also have a state rep that has told me he will introduce bills to lower the amount of time it takes to get a CCW permit and take churches off the list of "no guns" places in the statute.
Thanks.
Hi,
I'm meeting with my state representative in the next couple of days, to suggest and discuss upcoming gun laws, and some suggestions I have for him, concerning gun rights and concealed carry permitting.
For a bit of background, he has for the past four years introduced bills to allow...
in TX are you required to produce the CHL/inform the officer without having to be asked first? TX recognizes my Mississippi permit and I go there from time to time, would like to find out ahead of time :)
Mississippi does not have a duty to inform, but Louisiana (10 miles down the road, go...
Oleg, what were you thinking about for scenes/setups for the shoot? Or if anyone else has ideas. I have been batting around ideas but can't come up with anything terribly interesting. (Don't blame me, I'm just a supermodel!)
Oleg, I would very much like to "model" for such should you be interested. I have very good friends in Nashville so it would be a good excuse to visit. In fact I may could convince them to model as well, and they are a male/male couple. Do let me know.
Mississippi, my state, is Shall Issue, and does not require training to get a CHL. I did go over to Louisiana, about an hour away, to take their CHL class for good measure.
I'm reminded of a quote in someone's sigline, I believe attributed to a Marine upon seeing a flamethrower for the first time: "where does the bayonet go?" :)
We, also, are not allowed to carry in churches (Mississippi). My state representative won't return my call or emails, so I'm thinking I may just have to run for office myself!
