A simple Google search would have brought you all the info you could stomach.
Ithaca and Springfield made them. I have a Springfield, but it's the 22lr/410 version vs. 22 Hornet.

Where did you send your Boberg to, to have the internals coated? Is it just parts or the entire gun, and I suspect they know what they need to do?
I have an XR9S, XR9L, and XR45S.
I went to a number of black powder pages where people replicate what was done in the past to make files, harden frizzens, etc. They generated carbon a number of different ways then heated surrounded by carbon in a contained space to case harden, with longer times being associated with deeper...
I should mention I've only run ball ammo through mine, not hollow point. I think I've seen mentioned that hollow points might not feed, somewhat similar to the AMT Hardballer... But I haven't tried yet.
I bought one for $240, SAO.
It shot well and I never had a problem with it. Not exactly pleasant to shoot as others have mentioned. They will beat your hand up! But I like the size and that it's all metal.
I saw another SAO at the local GS for $165 with a leather holster. Stuck firing pin and...
Interesting the problems people seem to have had.
I have an AMT Hardballer, 2 AMT Backup 380s, and 1 AMT Backup 22lr. All bought used.
All have run flawlessly.
Para Warthog is 24oz vs. EMP 9 at 26.7oz.
I bought a used Warthog many years ago and after replacing the worn extractor, I have had no problems with it.
But of course, Para is no more...
We are lucky to have a really good show run by a local club twice a year. Free for members, no parking fee, etc.
But we are shut down in Oregon so we might not see a show until fall.
I pretty much always see at least *something* interesting there. Don't always buy anything, but I've found some...
The click-clack action is a feature that some people really like.

I pulled mine out of the safe a few weeks ago and had forgotten this, LOL. Have to take it apart to get the rounds out of the stock so it will work properly.
Also had it go full auto once when a screw loosened up. It dumped the magazine in a second.
Hope you figured it out.
For fun, I pulled my Mk III 22/45 out of the safe a week ago and pulled it apart but couldn't get it back together. So I looked closely at what I needed to do.
1) When reassembling, the hammer needs to be *back*, not forward. Slide the bolt in.
2) You now have to put...
I have two AMT backup 380's, an AMT backup 22lr, and an AMT Hardballer 45.
I haven't had any issues with any of them up to this point. They've all worked great. Perhaps previous owners debugged them somehow before I got hold of them.
Back a decade or more ago I did some research and got the Marvel conversion unit.
There appears to be more available now. But the Marvel unit has worked very well and I don't tend to use HV ammo.
