It has been "documented" that Daniel Boone when squirrel hunting would shoot the limb out from under the squirrel with his muzzle loader. The transferring shock supposedly killed the squirrel. He claimed he did it this way to keep from damaging the meet. If it happened this has to be right up...
Thanks Larry E. I do live out in a rural area and have my own range up to several hundred yards, so the remote readout is not that important to me. I would not be using the digital scales as a dedicated powder scale but to measuer a little bit of everything, my idea was to use the digital...
2 real quick questions for some handloaders out there. I am looking to purchase a chronograph for under $200 as well as a good digital powder scale. I am looking fo reccomendations. Any ideas? I have a good background in handloading looking for a chronograph to confirm my loads and use it to...
10:14 Tom Goldstein - It is striking that the decision is not clouded by ambiguity created by separate opinions. One opinion on each side.

You also could have stated your position better. As a father...
A Remington 870 capable of having barrel changes of 10, 12, 16, 20, and 28 gauge along with .410. I am a big fan of the 16 and 28 and would like to see more shotguns in these gauges.
Wouldn't you?

Also welcome to THR newshooter. Life everyone has said find something that...
Broke my right collar bone playing football back in the mid 90's of course it happened just a few weeks before deer season. my dad bought be a Ruger Blackhawk in .44 mag and with enough practice every day I was able to hunt and took two deer that year.
First guess from what you described, is you are using too much trigger finger. Just use the pad of your finger to squeeze the trigger. Just a first guess though.
