For all of you S&W revolver shooters who like a "Gold Bead" front sight on your revolver and can't bring yourself to mount one of those new fangled fiber optic blades, Scott Mulkerin has a 14 carat gold sight...
The big thing about Berry's 180 bullet mentioned is theat it is ROUND NOSE and fully plated. Competition revolver shooters will appreciate these bullets. Just about all (including Zero) FMJ type bullets have exposed lead at the base of the bullet. This contributes to range lead pollution.
I...
On all bullet orders. Of course the shipping is figured in the price of the bullets, but at least you know exactly what you are paying when you order.
I have been dealing with them for years without a problem. (Well there was the time my bullets ended up in Michigan, but that was my fault for...
This is a heads up especially for you .40 and 10mm round gun shooters.
I just received a flyer in the mail from Berry's Manufacturing and they have a new plated .401 ROUND NOSE 180 grain bullet now!
It isn't on their website yet but if you are interested their contact info is:

Here ia the link to the IDPA Rule Book. About halfway down page 37 is the description of a Tactical Reload.
http://www.idpa.com/rulebook5-2-01/IDPA%20Rulebook.doc
The IDPA rulebook says that a Tactical Reload should be done "during a lull in the action." (between strings maybe?). To me...
The South Cuyahoga Sportsmans Club of Litchfield, Ohio, will NOT have a Classifier Match this Sunday 7-6-03, due to the Holiday weekend.

In semi-autos I have many favorites, but they are either one of several manufacturers 1911, or the Browning HiPower. I have both Springfield and Kimber 1911 pistols and really like them both.
But because my ultimate favorite is the S&W Model 19, I had to pick S&W. However I do not care for...
bd0,
I used to occasionally shoot at Copley with OPS. I hope to make the trip to this Saturday's match. It's about a two hour drive, but I've got to come over at least once in awhile.
I'm hoping for good weather. What's the range surface like? Dirt, sand, stone, grass?
When I cut my standard 2 3/4" 1100 down to 18.5" I had to open up the gas ports one drill size. Now it's running fine again.
Hope that's all it is. I have found my 1100s to be very reliable.
Another thing about pocket carry I don't like.
I was shooting the Classifier with my HiPower and was rotating mags out of my jeans pockets to the mag pouch between strings. On the TRL/RLWR in Stage 3 String 2, I inserted a mag with a tad bit of denim lint on the first round that lock her up...
I can shoot my S&W Model 19 double action about as well as I can shoot any autoloaders. The same with my S&W Model 18. I shoot that better DA then I could my old S&W 41. The 41 was a very accurate autoloader, but I never could get the hang of it.
I don't mean to anger anyone, but....
If you can't carry a BIG rifle, stay home. Don't go there!
I feel that the only handgun that might be suitable for bears, big or little, is a 20 mm semi-automatic with a 60 round drum magazine. The longest barrel you can carry in whichever holster...
I have a lot of handguns that I really like, but like Mike Irwin, the 4" S&W Model 19 has always been my favorite. If I could only take one handgun with me it would be my S&W M-19!
